I moved to a new area at work and became a source of curiosity when they realized I wasn't just bringing a few in, but will be bringing tins in every night. People would ask me if they're cheap, I just said they tasted good. They'd ask about the health benefits, I just said they tasted good. They asked what I liked about them, I just said they tasted good.
I brought in a few extras to store in my locker and started offering them to people who kept asking questions. Now our table is the canned fish table and they're starting to dork out too. It's strange how people who don't have any connection to the deenosphere manage to become just as cultish about them. It's like there's some toxoplasmosis-like bug that infects people.
Some are grossed out, and I always tell them I can respect it as long as they have had them before and that I don't count chicken of the sea or beach cliff. The damage that company has done to the deeniverse is depressing.

I am a carb man myself. Mince garlic and cucumber. Mix them in olive oil from fish tin with dash of salt. Smear this on a split french loaf. Top it off with a thin layer of king Oscar’s olive sardines and squeeze so it melds with the bread. It’s so simple it tastes good.

You don't have to win the lottery to try the following: grilled onions and mushrooms - and your favorite sardine and two scrambled eggs and chopped tomatoes if you want. Will this blow your mind? maybe if you drink it down with either eggnog or ice cold prune juice. 😘🤣🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴💥💥💥💥💥🗝️

Found your channel when I found some Season brand sardines in the house. Started working out a few months ago and started eating sardines after the gym for the protein and remembered this video as eating the sardines by themselves was getting boring. Thank you for making videos and opening more people up to sardines!

excellently done. You could also try what I do for hot Sardines. Open the can set the open can in the frying Pan Heat up the Sardines right in the can. Take the can out of the frying Pan and and put them on a plate is a plate with crackers or toast or salad or whatever you want. No mess hot or warm sardines.

Thanks Don. My ambition is to make a whole video when I'm out camping in a couple months. Do a camp cooking in the fashion you described along with some other shenanigans, of course.

When I first watched this video this combination seemed less than appetizing. I tolerate fish but do love eggs. None the less I gave it a try and I must say it was very good and very filling and is an excellent breakfast.

My mom used to makes us sardines with eggs too. More like shashuka style.
    Recipe :
chopped onions, tomatoes and jalapeños, canned Sardines with tomato sauce.
Canned jalapeños (the vinegar) or just a splash of white vinegar.
    Eggs.
Sautee the veggies until mushy then add the sardines whole or chopped as your like, add a splash of vinegar salt and pepper. Mix the eggs and pour on the top. Put the lid on and let them cook. Serve with rice or french bread on a rainy morning.
Don't forget the cup of coffee 🍵🍵

This man made me brave enough to try sardines. Conclusion they have a very strong taste (even with hot sauce) more than tuna but i enjoyed them in general. If anyone has suggestions to get use to the taste I’d appreciate it. Highly recommend you try it at least once in your life in some form.

Eat more and try different brands! Some are less fishy than others - Matt's old videos will be a good reference, but you have to watch every single one. 😉

I added a little honey mustard salad dressing to a can of KO in olive oil today. It was surprisingly good, didn’t even need crackers to eat the entire can! So try any salad dressing or bottled seasoning that you already like. Enjoy your sardine adventures.

I’ve grown use to the taste now after a try a few methods of eating them. I love the soya oil ones the most so far. Just wanted to respond and say thank you for the likes and that I’ll be sure to try the suggestions.
