It's Zwaahv. This is a cut down version of the Remington Zouave. Shoots the Civil War type Minie' bullets which are around 460-515 grains. 60 grains of 2F powder. These do have a slow twist, but have very shallow grooves so elongated bullets can strip and tumble badly if over loaded. Round balls don't work very well in this or any CivilWar type rifled muskets unless you reduce powder charges. Just not enough land grip for round balls. Patch will tear and burn. Same barrel and rifling as the Zouave and US 1841 "Mississippi Rifle" Strongly recommend a small aperture nipple or make sure you wear safey glasses as there will be a LOT of blowback. Pick the nipple flash hole before every shot. The Buffalo Hunter is fairly accurate if you refine your own load/bullet combo.

🤣
Buffalo Hunter and Zouave Carbine have 1/66" twist.
a very good round ball twist :)
Looks like a lot of fun, GunGeek. There's an older video on the Internet of GunGeek shooting this particular rifle.
I do like the 58 caliber guns :)
I have one and it's excellent. A heavy rifle but accurate
they are a tad heavy :)
Looks like it would be a decent carry for Whitetails.
58 is a great deer caliber :)
Or buffalo! 🐃 🦬
Zwahv
something like that :)
