My daughter is an sag sun Aquarius moon she is 13 and now I’m like wow this is her. There’s definitely a detachment even with us and my mom did take on more of raising her when I was younger because I had her at 19 and she just allow me to work. I lived in the home and everything. This actually makes me look at myself like wow she even told me many time she don’t like telling me stuff because she don’t ever like how I respond to things but she is also not affectionate so if I try she is like blah so sometimes it’s hard to know which way to take with her. I force hugs and kisses on her.

I’m a Libra Sun and Aquarius Moon. Some of this I strongly relate to and other aspects didn’t resonate with me. My mom and I have always been extremely close and she’s always been supportive of me emotionally etc. I don’t believe I have much memory loss from my childhood and I’m a very 1x1 type person as in I prefer 1x1 convo over group settings. But I’m very individualistic and expressive and don’t care about following the crowd. I’m also in my head A LOT. Also, I can admit that I have a strong rebellious side. Enjoyed this video!

I agree with most of what you said, particularly about the mother/child relationship. My mother had a postpartum depression leading up to her hospitalization not long after my birth and a couple subsequent episodes of severe depression during my upbringing needing hospital stays too. Needless to say she wasn’t very available emotionally.

Same! Leo sun, Aquarius moon. My mom was there physically but emotionally absent. She was very harsh and cold, domineering parent; had to walk on eggshells in the home.
Now as an adult I feel like she’s looking for an emotional connection with me but it’s just not there. That foundation was never established in childhood so it’s not there now. Part of me feels bad but it’s just how it is. It’s very hard for me to be vulnerable or connect with my mom cause I know I’ll get hurt.

Thanks for mentioning the mom comment. I wanted to understand my son’s placement a little better, which is why I listen to these videos. My son is leo sun aqua moon and after puberty age 17 he completely became distant and cold. We were super close and lovey I would give him so much love and affection constant hugs, kisses, I love you’s every day we both basked in it, it was a beautiful bond. He was a late bloomer so up til age 16 he was still jumping on me for cuddles which I adored. It makes me wonder why the sudden coldness he wants nothing to do with any affection or even me really. I thought it’s his age but it’s pretty extreme and it’s when I noticed the moon placement. Not sure what could have caused this I tried to give him what I didn’t have emotionally growing up. I am a Virgo with Gemini moon (Neptune squaring sun and opposing my moon). But i see the independence how he wants to be out of the house etc. He doesn’t wanna talk either.😢
So grateful for this video! It really helped me to understand my Aquarius Moon, in my 4th house. I was raised by my Mom, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and their big tradition has been religion. We also did everything as a group and decisions were made by the group. I did ghost my dad's family many years ago without a single word due to some personal issues. I have always been rebellious, never ever wanted to fit into a box society created for me, if someone tries to force it I come out swinging without apology, and I'm in the process now of starting my own Tarot business. Just so I never, ever have to work for someone again or ask someone else what I can do with my own time. I do have a Leo Sun + North Node that lends itself to me caring about what others think much to my "horror." I also have Mars Cancer that really helps me to feel emotions but also has helped me funnel those emotions into writing.

@@Shawnmelfowlerjr3927 Maybe you were born like 30 minutes earlier which would easily put you into Aquarius. It is also possible you have air signs elsewhere and/or Uranus or perhaps mercury aspecting your moon and maybe heavily aspecting your chart. Both Pisces and Aquarius are otherworldly, but Aquarius is much more of a detached/intellectual type, zany, sometimes bizarre, while Pisces is more dreamy, watery, and emotional. Both can be spiritually oriented (especially Pisces) and very “universal” in their approach to life. What I would focus on is the element: are you more emotional and do you find it difficult to extricate yourself from your emotions (water), or do you find it easy to do so (air)?

Aquarius moon in the 6th house 🙌very accurate and as far as building a connection I rather be by myself and I find no one more interesting than myself. I am always seeking mental stimulation if being approach but it never happens which is why I go ghost but I do warn others that I do need mental stimulation however they fall short.

It’s really interesting seeing people try to understand the most misunderstood moon sign. I don’t resonate with much of this. I wasn’t raised by a community. I don’t think about the “community of people”. Maybe it’s because my Moon is trine my Sun. Aquarius Moon is one of the most emotionally intelligent placements to have. My mom wasn’t emotionally present, and I am naturally detached, that is true.
I think what Aquarius need to understand is they desire individualism and no matter how much content I make, taking into account EVERYBODY’S experience within one video, Aquarians never like being clocked, grouped, or placed into a category because psychologically that makes them “like everyone else”. Not to mention the need to rebel with every single thing. If anybody said anything about Aquarius, naturally there’s a need for rebellion.
This is a video for the majority. This is not a personal reading about your chart so it’s important to remember that you’re not going to relate to absolutely everything that has been discussed.
There are Aquarians in the comments that relate. But the ones that don’t , it never seises to amaze me there few that don’t and that’s okay.
And to touch base on emotional intelligence, that’s where someone has the ability to process, feel, respond, and ‘exist’ within their emotions. So if that’s something that you can do without analysing and asking for the opinions of others, then good on you.

pisces sun, aqua moon. i HATE being told what to do esp when i already had my way planned in advance or found a way to make it easier for myself. hate when someone tries to tell me who i am… nobody knows me better than myself. as a pisces sun i’m awesome w helping others w their emotional traumas but w my aqua moon i struggle deeply w my own emotions & can hardly ever express them, only i can get myself thru my emotional times. i don’t judge & am very open minded but i strongly dislike when somebody is focused on doing things by the books and want to force their ways on me. i am indeed a ghoster and if you make me feel like i NEED to be there i will absolutely not, i cut people off and never look back, esp if i feel like we are not compatible or you are not on my level mentally. i could miss the times we’ve spent together but i’ll never feel the need to reach out. i am detached even w friends but not on purpose, it just happens esp when i get in my own world, my leo friend doesn’t seem to understand that. i thrive in friend groups but also when i am alone. i feel like the smartest person in the room no matter where i am or who i am with, i feel like nobody can make me feel any lesser. losing me is like losing a front tooth, you’ll never smile the same. thank God for my pisces sun, if it weren’t for her i’d be a cold hearted robot which i sometimes feel like i am.
