Definitely a very fast blade. I've got 2 of them for when I play, tried a few blades but this one is so good for standing over the table and blocking shots around the table with control and speed.
He still got the quality and sense, but probably not the reflex or fitness anymore of a world class game. But still better than my country's best player

@@Abdulbasit-alshafi3i they are superb wih chinese rubbers. the only things you'll have to work on are short game and seves. because it lacks of feeling on small impacts.
You should also ask yourself, do you really want a blade that fast? If you smash at like 100 mph, and the other player blocks it back, then you're going go get a 100 mph ball coming back at you aswell. Also, if your short game is bad, then the opponent is just going to third ball attack you all the time. Flat hits are good if you're playing against n00bs, but if you're playing against better players you'll need to loop the ball more, which this racket isn't so good at.

the crack sound of the blade is so satisfying. with speed glue, i remember Kreanga playing with it, he had that pop and crack combined on powerloops. speed glued Bryce + Primorac carbon = eargasm.
You have just about perfected these little equipment highlights ft. Top players. Great pacing great quality. So good. You should be proud of your quality progression. ✌️
I've used this blade and found it too direct and unspinny. You can block well with it, but your loops lack spin and are also blocked back with ease. The overall energy of the ball is less than with Nittaku Tenor or Viscaria, which hold the ball a bit more and let you impart both speed and spin. This one is about sheer speed, not "punch". It's also difficult to execute a low spinny loop with emphasis on low rebound. You often get it smashed or relooped back, which rarely occurs with Nittaku Tenor and Hexer or XPlode rubbers. With Primorac Carbon, glued Bryce or Sriver EL and celluloid ball you had both speed and spin, but that era has passed away. Nowadays more dwelly and powerful blades are needed.
Dan, imagine this beast with 38mm and fresh glued maximum rubbers. THIS was true speed and spin! :) Anyway, Werner Schlager used a slightly modified version of the Primo Carbon when winning in Paris. The result was then published as the Schlager Carbon. It's a little bit faster, stiffer and some grams plus. It was great to play with BTY Bryce, glued.
Thanks for the video. That's the choice between Speed and Spin. The blade is a rocket and I think on someone like a Harimoto would be even more devastating. You can use your opponent's speed and add on with it. However, this blade is designed for close to mid distance (that would be a stretch) play and not for the loop-to-loop, or even all around play which is needed in the modern game. Once again, it depends on your style because everyone is different.
That sound from the blade 😌 so satisfying and the backhand play is just incredible 😍❤️. No doubt with that backhand, Zoran won the World Cup twice 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Also Dan, amazing play, you are a complete professional. I have watched all of your TTD tournament episodes. Amazing team 🙌🏼 Keep up the good work 👍🏼
This blade is phantastic for smashing through each spinny topspin. It doesn't matter how much rotation you get, if the ball is high enough, just hit straight through with speed and it will somehow land on the table.
Coincidentally,I just have two Chinese penhold Primorac carbon blades in my hands now. One of two blades has been used as my outstanding weapon to perform RPB in table tennis games, the other one has been my careful stocked collection for more than 18 years.
Dan I'm using this blade for a week and this blade has a really good speed my opponent usually say that the pace of the ball is quite fast than before and to generate more spin I have to brush the ball from bottom with good uplift .Allover the blade is a fantastic one .Iam using Rozena on my forehand and Dr Neubaeur Gorilla on backhand
The good thing with the Primo Carbon is, it‘s not so important which rubbers you play, how old they are and how is the shape of the rubbers. You don‘t have to boost the rubbers, because the blade is so dominating and fast with Good feeling. One of the Best blades in the World for sure.
Primorac and Garaydia T5000. Both blades you don't want to give a slow heavy top spin loop. Because they will just answer with a closed angle flat drive off the bounce that's extremely fast. It would use the spin of the returning ball itself to get the ball over the net and the wielder would only need a stroke that's concentrated on power even with zero wrist "brushing" movement. Primorac also says that the hard part about blades like this is the first touch - which is very true. Because it's so fast the angle and power must be right otherwise the ball flies away so fast it just sinks into the net or flies off. Your brush movement has to be good to give enough ball-arcs
Is it me or Dan has improved quite a lot for the last 18 months? I know the racquet speed plays a role but I find his shots more penetrative, especially the FH
I played the primo with the old ball and i had no problems with control. I found it too slow for a tamca5000. After it i played the werner schlager carbon and the gergely alpha. This blades are much faster than the primo carbon and lack on control. Nobody could block just one of my forehand topspins but i had a big problem controling the backhand. Thats why i changed to mizutani super zlc which has a great speed and control balance
I stop playing for 25 years. it took me 3 rackets and finally primorac to get back to table tennis. The blades allows me to return the ball faster with not so great effort especially now that im not my old thin self anymore. Using Nittaku G1 on FH and Donic Barracuda BH. My opponents is surprised on my shots sometime and that includes me. I'm also surprised that i was able to do that.
I think Hinoki outer ply blades have a unique character. I think they are bouncy and have that explosive hit. What i am not sure is if they are good in touch game because of the not so good feeling of the ball. So i believe its a blade for a fast play with aggressive counter hits and open game a little far from the table. Thanks for this amazing video
