Florez qui canta in modo più melodico, più melodicamente 'popolare' di Pavarotti, che oltre ad avere una voce chiara e più potente, utilizza abitualmente una modalità di emissione da tenore 'classico. Tuttavia la diffusione internazionale della canzone, nella versione tenorile, si deve a Pavarotti, il quale fa anche sentire meglio alcune assonanze orientaleggianti del brano sonoro ( e qui è più emozionante) facendo seguire alla voce piena la mezza voce. Bocelli invece è un tenore 'pop' , o un pop - tenore, che non manca di sensibilità, ma che non ha mai calcato le scene operistiche, e non si è mai misurato, nel corso degli anni, con la loro fatica e la loro durata, come invece hanno fatto Florez e Pavarotti. Bocelli è un cantante occasionali di brani sparsi.
