I remember buying Meteora; I think it was the second album I ever bought after AFIs Song the Sorrow. I eventually encountered the genius of hybrid theory but your first LP album always hits different.

Fun Fact: at the end of the Summer Sannitarium Tour in 2004, Linkin Park were granted permission to prank Metallica. They chose to have a picnic and skateboard on stage during Master of Puppets. This was also the song/album that got Mike Shinoda into Metallica
The Mike rapping parts just pulls the whole thing together into one masterfully-done song.

I was so confused because I thought you'd done this already but that was Rap God in the style of Linkin Park. I think that means you have a lot of followers that are Linkin Park fans. I dig it- Hybrid Theory was one of the first CD'S I got back in the day.
He also did "Lose Yourself" (Eminem) and "Psychosocial" (Slipknot) in the style of Linkin Park. They are also pretty awesome. Just a few more and we have a full album :)

I was expecting this to be more of a Chester-only "Shadow of the Day"-type style, so I got so excited when I heard Mike's parts sprinkled around too! I honestly can't get enough of these Linkin Park covers!
Linkin Park has been my favorite band since 2001. I’m 33. I met them in 2004 & LP is how I found your channel almost a decade ago. You don’t get nearly enough of the credit you deserve. When Chester passed, I knew it was the end of the band; however, YOU are the only person I would buy tickets for to go see if the band requested you to sing. I know you’d do it with honor and give Chester the dedication he deserves. I hope the band sees this and I hope this spreads everywhere because it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s legit as if Mike & Brad put this together themselves. So proud of you & please never stop sharing your gift with us!!!

Specifically early Linkin Park had a mix that while not unique for the time, was executed with proficiency that was unmatched. It's something that when other bands try to copy, it never quite feels the same as when LP does their style. I personally equate it to something I recall Randy Rhoads mentioning (Ozzy's guitarist on Crazy Train & such) about how its more impressive to know when to hold or not play a note than to go as quickly as you can. Anyone can learn speed, artistry requires dedication & talent though.
In the hard breakdown that you did… I sure as hell noticed the triplet snare roll in the middle. Nice touch and nod to One Step. Killed it bro

This is your magnum opus, Anthony Vincent. This song, right here, proves to me that you are one of the most, if not the most flexible and creative musician alive right now. The sheer fact of putting Master Of Puppets into the style of Linkin Park seems such an impossible task to do, in my opinion, that I would have given up from the start. The ways in which you managed to creatively turn an element of the initial song into the style of Linkin Park (ex: main riff into piano at a slower tempo) are very ingenious. Good fucking job.

With evey bit of LP songs you are approaching Chester's screaming but keep listening to them: there are some parts you can polish a lot. Also the melodic parts: he was able to go from full singing to eardrum and vocal cord-ripping screaming and back in almost no time. Thanks a lot for sharing your talent and keep them coming!!!
