We have been approved yesterday. I had a stack of papers with me about 2 inch thick. They did not even take a quarter of those papers. But just in case we had them. We had bank statements, bills, titles of the cars, property tax papers, beneficiary of the pension, life insurance all with both our names on it. Travel papers of the travels we took. And letters from family and friends which they did not even look at as we had more then enough proof. And a whole lot of pictures, not only from the both of us, but with also family and friends. Overwhelm them with evidence. We sailed through our questions easily as we had been living together for more then 7 years. It was a breeze and we are still truly in love and the officer could see that.
Glad you stated this. There was a Haitian man who wanted to marry me for an immigration benefit. The red flag was it was ok for me to stay in my home while he lived elsewhere.
I married latina in Honduras in 1990 in civil wedding at mayor's office I came not into much money and my wife from very very poor family I could not hire lawyer nor could she
This is great information but a lot does not apply when your spouse in not living in the US, they are still in the foreign country so the evidence has to be different!

We don’t share living arrangements or finances with live in to different countries but I visit every 6 months.. so is that important to send in what should I do
Hello! You want to be sure to present all documents showing you visit one another. You can explain that you don't live together because you can't just yet (until the non-U.S. resident obtains their residency).
I have bank accounts, investments, and personal insurance in the US. I am a US citizen living abroad. I am Petitioning for my wife. We have a child who has US passport and just received her SSN. We are missionaries working for our own non-profit. The non-profit is registered in Iowa. My income is below the level required to file taxes so I did not file taxes in 2021. Do I need to file these taxes in order to prove domicile or will I have sufficient evidence to not worry about filing taxes? I spoke with a lawyer who said I should file my taxes even if not required for domicile purposes.

Hello. I have been married to my us citizen husband for almost 2 years. Im a Canadian citizen, we have been able to visit and spend time but we are looking into moving in together. We decided to live in usa but i would have to apply for immigration and all those forms i-130 and i-485. We were planning on moving me there first and then apply. If we say that our intentions are to apply to an immigration officer at the border from the beginning, would this somehow make me unable to enter usa or could it ruin our chances of getting approved?

Hi. Thanks for your very informative videos. Question: Do the marriage/divorce/birth certificates need to be translated into English if they're in Spanish? Thanks in advance.
I am in th eprocess and found this: ¨¨A good photocopy will do. It does not need to be an original. If the birth certificate is not in English, you will also need to attach a translation behind the birth certificate. Anybody can do the translation, including a friend or family member. Simply copy every word of the birth certificate on a plain sheet of paper. Then whoever did the translation should write the following statement at the bottom of the paper and sign it. It does not need to be notarized. Note that the image below is for demonstration purposes only and is probably not what your birth certificate will look like. This must be the "long form" birth certificate that includes the parents names. "Short form" or birth certificate cards will not be accepted. Get the most complete or "official" certificate available. I certify that I am competent to translate (language name here) to English, and that this is a complete and correct translation. Maam were married with my american husband here in the philippines. And i already got a passport using his last name and a US tourist visa 10 years multiple entry too. Were going to travel to US this june my question is is it enough proof that were really legally married ?
We like to present lots of evidence to show that a marriage is "bona fide" or not fraudulent. We usually present much more. You can watch our other videos for ideas of what to present!
I just came back from south east asia. I worked for a local company there. Now that im back in the US i have no job yet and the past 8 years I wasn’t working in the US. Im from Nepal and married to American citizen.our i -30 was approved but has to fill out i -824 form and it's on process.it takes forever to get visa.im wanting to know can i visit my husband in tourist visa and how long it will take for process.please help 😢
I know how frustrating it is. Government wait times are very long. You may be able to visit your husbnad on a tourist visa if you already have one, but it will be hard to apply for a new tourist visa at this time. If you do travel to the U.S. on a tourist visa, be sure to be prepared to show your ties to Nepal and your return flight, so the officer does not think you are trying to overstay your tourist visa.
My wife already go to lawyer and immigration with proof of documents for spouse visa i m from Pakistan and she is US citizenship so how much i will waiting for my visa or how much pending our process more

My paperwork is already in for k1 visa and the i129f packet was received November 2, 2020. My fiance is in Vietnam and I'm American. I was wondering if I go to Vietnam and Marry her and don't say anything to the government. This is just in case the k1 visa doesn't go through. Then I would file for a cr1 visa in the future. I want to do this because the stress of not seeing each other for a long time is putting stress on our relationship. I think marriage would shower her I am really committed. What are your thoughts let me know thanks and God Bless.

It’s a simple question, and it’s really unkind and greedy of you to ask this person to book your extremely expensive consultation just to get this simple answer.
i am confused how can i prove a life style if she is america and i am not? i didnt told her "take a can of tuna, we're out of it" because this never happened although i love her so bad and im willing to do everything we need to prove we are real and we just want to have our life together as normal person..

I'm got married January 11th, 2021 with my wife here in Vietnam. We applied for a spouse visa in February. Now it's almost November and we are still waiting for a response. Is it normal to wait this long for a response? I lived with her for 1 year in Vietnam patiently waiting for an interview date or response, however I have to return to the US soon because I'm almost out of money.
Hi Evan - I'm so sorry to hear you are having to wait so long for your case to be resolved. The currently processing times have gotten longer due to COVID, and we've seen a lot of inconsistency and unpredictability with some cases moving quickly and others more slowly. Give us a call if you'd like us to review your case and provide guidance on options that may be available to get your case moving.

We totally understand! There are lots of highly qualified lawyers and we all have different pricing structures. If you're looking for a more affordable option, you can search AILA, which is the American Immigration Lawyers Association - to find other attorneys and ask about their pricing. You may also reach out to non-profits in your area to see if you qualify for their services, based on income. Catholic Charities is a trusted immigration service provider and they have offices around the country. Good luck on your case!

I want to file a K1 visa but how do i qualify the income sufficient form and i did not file taxes with the IRS. So i have no tax records. I have enough in my savings to support my fiancee. Could you advice what i should do?

Is all this still necessary if they have kids already .
Having kids together is great evidence, but we always submit additional evidence of proof of the bona fide nature of the relationship.
I have thé certificat mariage i live in Congo DRC/ BUKAVU.

It’s a simple question, and it’s really unkind and greedy of you to ask this person to book your extremely expensive consultation just to get this simple answer.
i am confused
how can i prove a life style if she is america and i am not?
i didnt told her "take a can of tuna, we're out of it" because this never happened
although i love her so bad and im willing to do everything we need to prove we are real and we just want to have our life together as normal person..

You can get divorce , this is not problem .
I’m try to get lawyer but y’all so expensive 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
We totally understand! There are lots of highly qualified lawyers and we all have different pricing structures. If you're looking for a more affordable option, you can search AILA, which is the American Immigration Lawyers Association - to find other attorneys and ask about their pricing. You may also reach out to non-profits in your area to see if you qualify for their services, based on income. Catholic Charities is a trusted immigration service provider and they have offices around the country. Good luck on your case!
