i enjoy the fact that "Evan" seems more numb to disaster then the others, it's a very common trauma response and since he did see his sister die it's only inevitable that he would be more numb, good detail, i like when ppl incorporate realistic trauma responses

So to explain why their expressions are like that, is because of the timeline. Kids were more mature and are able to handle serious situations. That is why after seeing a few videos, they simple got used to it.
