His English has improved A LOT. He couldn't speak the language at all when he first came to England less than 2 years ago. Antonio Valencia, take note.
Gabriel is one of the most humble professionals. Happy he's adapting into England and he's enjoying his time in Manchester Still has an extremely bright future ahead of him
Hearing how confident and determined this guy is, it’s apparent he has greatness in his DNA. He speaks about life and football so interchangeably. That article he put out really puts things into perspective.
Fair play to Poet and Vuj they manage to get the best out of each footballer they interview, love their appreciation and knowledge of other cultures and how it gives them a step ahead of every other interview.
Would it be possible to know when the interview was being filmed in future F&C’s? It’s easier to follow and know about what games and stuff you talk! Great Episode!!
@@arsenalmanz When you're originally foreign and most of your relatives don't speak English as much you try to lower the level so that they can understand think he got used to that lol
@@lukasp5892 I talk normally. As a reflex I can understand but try to see it from Gabriel Jesus's side of things as a professional he must act a certain way but think of how anyone else would take it... it may not be deliberately condescending but can come across that way. Also its funny as fuck.
Everyone slating Vuj for putting on an accent but it probably helps the players understand him a bit more than if he spoke at a normal speed in his normal accent
Man City and Brazil star Gabriel Jesus reveals all about his time in England, learning from Pep, what it means to represent Brazil at such a young age . Leave us a comment below!
In terms of Complete players, Fernandinho and De bruyne are definitions. De bruyne can play absolutely anywhere in attack, Whilst Fernandinho can play in 10 positions
Honestly i love fifa and chill more than anything but i just the ones where the guest doesnt speak english to be very awkward and not as genuine or laid back - doesnt matter how much editing u put into it, the conversion just doesnt seem smooth at all and comes off as cringeworthy sometimes just my 2 cents, not hating at all
Marcus Persson ok, I'm Brazilian perhaps that's why I disagree with you, G. Jesus is away from our country, listen to his voice and his ways made me smile the whole videos. Also, guys from Copa90 made a noticeable effort to show empathy but that's not as cringeworthy as something else because Gabriel also is a laid back guy, humble and cool and did not one single time took his mind of the reality, c'mmon his just keeping his winning mindset drive, and sometimes this is awkward.
@@Bingeleituras Don't think that's what he means. An interview like this, where you always have a translator between question and answer just kind of takes away from it. It just lacks the banter and the connection between the hosts and the guest, because they can only really react to the translator and not the guest. It seems unnatural and what this show lacks in football competence, it normally makes up for in the natural and light hearted way of doing these interview, which is very difficult this way
ridiculous comment, how do you expect smooth conversational transitions between people who speak different languages. There was no real awkwardness, only moments of pause whilst questions were translated. If you couldn't recognise the chemistry between GJ and vuj as well as the relaxed vibe that Jesus was emitting then fair enough but you can't expect non native speakers to be as fluid and immediately responsive in their conversation as a fluent english speaker would be. Good interview. However Poet was a bit awkward tbf

Not seen much of Jesus except from on the football field. But, what a down to earth genuine guy he is
Jesus has my respect, very humble and wise for his age
Thanks for having me lads.
Gabriel Jesus How are you man please reply
Hahahaha
Is it weird that I don't like City, but I like some of their players, such as you?
He speaks better English than Harry Kane
Duh Harry Kane doesn’t know a letter in English
Press x to doubt

But they still can’t book Mitrovic 😂
mohammad was busy I guess.. :)
7:28 he disagree that Pep has a good beard😂😂😂
what Gabriel was saying is that he had no clue what the interviewer was saying
This was probably the most inspirational Fifa & Chill I've seen, what a legend man

Why tf do poet and vuj get some next foreign accent whenever they chat to a player who doesn’t speak English 😂😂
its actually quite normal, alot of people do that but i dont know why
My dad speaks Spanish and he understands better people with an accent then an English speaker
a lot of English speakers do that when speaking to someone whose first language isn't English
He’s like a young Brazilian Martin Lawrence haha

During Vuj's intro he was like wtf is about to go down mate 😳
