My favorite things are how the first musical crescendo kind of fails, then the next crescendo fully completes but only while the chorus trails down and falls off, then at the end both the music and chorus crescendo together. Really binds the piece together.
The fact that the first thing that Arthas did upon returning to Lordaeron after his fall was raise Invincible is so painfully tragic. Through death and beyond, their bond remained unbroken until the final defeat.
Invincible is a master piece for sure. It will be always a big favorite for me. I grow up with WoW basically. I don't play it anymore for a year now or more but still love its world and story and music.
The lyrics referring to the rule of the King is meant to reminisce the coronation anthem of Lordaeron, which would have been sung for Arthas. Not necessarily the view point of Invincible, rather than a reminder of what could have been had Arthas just abandoned his quest to follow Mal'Ganis.
i cried.. thie whole wacraft universe was my childhood and still is part of my life... sadly, after World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lichking, the era was kind of over... the game still exists and io play it with clode friends but... nothing else. the community is just toxic.. there is nothing left but numbers, if it's gearscore, rio score, dps, all star points, arena raiting, hps... so dumb It's a GAME, it should be fun and relaxing but there are nearly no people left that want this side of the game, only progress.. that's so damn sad man. Final Fantasy 14 still has this community, so i changed games most of the time (btw my pve numbers are good! but nonetheless i hate the system!!)
classic is a thing that exists; you can more or less play all of the content and see all the story while progressing through the expansions up to cataclysm (depending on who you ask, cata marks the shift between old/true rts era warcraft lore and modern wow) without ever buying an expansion, though you do still have to pay the monthly sub. wow is a good game if you ignore mixmaxxers and the general hardcore raiding scene.
Ah man love the WoW soundtrack, but the songs around Arthas have always been some of the best pieces. Makes sense, the entirety of Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne was Arthas' story.

All the music in wow is good - never heard a bad piece. The themes for zones, for people (Anduin's theme is very good), for everything really. Skyrim also has some amazing music.
WoW soundtracks are insane but this one hits different. Can you react to Warlords of Draenor, Light in the Darkness or APETITAN from attack on titan pls??
