Today, the housing market, whether it be btl or flipping, is not as great as it once was. The government are looking at heavy taxation in this sector to slow it right down. Returns of 2 to 4% should be expected, moving forward into 2025. Be careful out there
Won't the UK just absolutely bum you on tax if you own 5 properties these days? Is it really going to be that much of a money maker? 5 properties, each one rented out for maybe 400 quid more than the mortgage, then taxed to hell. Seems crap.

So it depends on the property. Sometimes it's good to sell, sometimes it's not. Different landlords have different strategies, long-term profit or short-term profit.

Depends on the property. If it is a prime area with wealthy individuals living nearby, then I'd say yes as wealthy people care more for high spec interiors. Don't use that nasty standard B&Q rubbish if you do! Go to Victorium emporium or something, lovely cornices there!
