Those Chem light wrappers leave lots to be desired. Shiney and make noise, I used to spray paint them, taping off the color of course, and popped out the air
Both the K-19 and K-Zero still needs improvements but I like that they’re a great company that wants feedbacks from their consumers so they can make the next generation even better.
They need to get rid of the padding and mesh instead have Velcro underneath of the carrier to allow installation of pontoons like Qore’s IceVents or IcePlates to maximize body cooling. I’m excited for the warfighter cummerbund which will help offset the plates into the correct locations on your body.

Pretty cool setup, breathability probably important as you mentioned humidity is a factor and being hydrophobic
I've been running an SPC for about a year now. I'd highly recommend the AXL Shoulder Pads and the Haley Strategic TRMP for a placard.
