I think Carson Beck really was able to hit a lot of 50/50 balls that were well covered, but they also let Bell get wide open on that one touchdown. He was balling in the 2nd half. It wasn’t that Alabama’s db’s were playing badly.
He could have easily thrown 5 picks. He was playing dangerously and has the luxury of 4 downs every time.

So good to hear someone call out Matt Moscona. He hates Bama because Saban went to Bama. He'd hate UGA, Auburn or Ole Miss if Saban had went there. He literally had a daily broadcast of "Bama is Burning" when the guys were transferring in Jan then he turns around and says Bama is winning because of Sabans players. You can't have it both ways. He loses sleep at night because of his hatred of Bama and Saban. Whenever a Bama player hits an opposing player hard he'll go into a diatribe about what a POS thug he is. He'll tell you he loves Saban but he honestly can't stand the ground Nick walks on. I know part of it is he is playing to his audience but he says things that just aren't true. He'll come on radio here in Birmingham and seem so impartial and we laugh, and when I say we laugh the JOX hosts know he is putting on an act and laugh when he tries to be impartial. As a Bama fan I always listen to you guys take. you played the game and know what's up. Win or lose I always check in with you guys.
I think the biggest thing about the UGA vs Bama games and why they're always so close. Bama has the mental advantage of thinking "we should win" and UGA has the "We need to win". One of those mindsets is far less stressful.

Milroe also had the ball in his hands either throwing it or running it for 17 of the 25 plays they ran in the 2nd half but yeah they got conservative on offense

5/5 on 4th down. And 3 dropped INT. It could have been worse. We are young on defense, only gonna get better the more they play.
Can bring up dropped INTs but there’s also plays where there were wide open TDs Beck just missed lol.
@stephencurry4835 yes, and 5/5 4th downs, one was helped by a penalty. The two teams are evenly matched. I can tell you this Alabama's not scared to play them again. Milroe right now is 2/ 0 against Georgia as the starter.

Milroe did not throw it perfectly his last throw. Julian Humphreys had a perfect chance to pick the ball off but couldn't locate the ball. That play was more about Ryan making a great catch.
I won't blame the safety on the Ryan Williams catch, 12 missed the tackle then missed a second time and ran into the safety.
If you slow it down , he takes out his mouth piece before going into the inzone .

Deboer won't make that mistake again. Calling vanilla plays in the 2nd half and rushing 3 (prevent defense) won't work in the Sec.

@@philmcrackinnowI’m glad Kirby has it after getting shown how to play offense Last Saturday. Absolutely got worked. Georgia executed like a HS team out there. Bama left points on the board to it could have been much much worse. Everyone’s talking about ok yea now georgias going to figure themselves out. No Alabama just did and the ceiling is much higher at this point. We outplayed Georgia at every position on the field. The thing that makes me happy is after that loss Georgia fans were genuinely puzzled as if saban magically gave us wins. Georgia stick to barking in the bathroom mirror.
Why would Georgia fans be upset? Youve lost 9 out of 10 to Alabama. One more should not be a shock to the system.
I'm obviously biased as an Alabama fan, but I think we would win by a bigger margin in a rematch. I think the effectiveness of Georgia's 2nd half adjustments were blown out of proportion by Alabama's conservative play-calling. Reason I say that is because we trailed for 13 seconds and no longer. Our defense also did great on 3rd down but since Georgia was in desperation mode the whole game, they always had an extra down to work with. The fact that it was our HC's 4th game at Alabama and first SEC game isn't insignificant either.
With that being said, though, I'm open to being proved wrong because I'm not really a "ball knower", lol. RTR and hope y'all beat Texas.
Edit: Cubelic said Alabama didn't get conservative, just stopped executing in the 2nd half. Trust him on anything football more than I trust myself so I was wrong but I did warn y'all that I'm not a "ball knower".
It wasn’t conservative play calling. Georgia shut down Milroe in the second half. I credit Deboar with catching Kirby off guard, but Georgia adjusted.

That's interesting because I think y'all lose a rematch. Georgia had 5 turnovers and y'all played at home. On a neutral field (let alone Athens) they clean up the turnovers and that game's not nearly as close.
