I suggest using a better blow dryer for the shrinkage and shine & jam gel on the roots of the twist, it will make the parts pop out better and the twists more neat you did good tho
You went from using the tool on your hair, to doing it by hand, to doing it for others! That's growth! You did a great job! A little bit of edge control on the roots when you put it in the rubber bands will help it to look more sleek.
Just how you parted it in 4 sections to proportion out the twist is the same way you should do to detangle & blow dry. It will make the whole process much easier & faster 🤞🏽💯

I stopped dowing twists partly because they'd get so frizzy quick and the roots were always puffy unless I made them really small which takes longer. If I made them, I'd always keep them in a bun or they'd stick out everywhere. I feel like single twists and braids look so much better when they're smaller. They fall better, look fuller, hide the roots etc
