You made the right decision. It is a bag, not an oil painting! Queen Margarethe of Denmark authorised adjustments to one of the family’s historic ruby tiaras to make it more comfortable for the then Crown Princess to wear. If it is okay to adjust a legendary jewel, it is no disgrace to improve a bag which is exactly the same as thousands of others! The tiara is a one only! Thank you for the video and happy travels!! 👍

I was bracing while you ripped the seams......Now if only the companies would attach substantial straps to begin with........glad it turned out so well........happy travels, have a great vacation...hope you go somewhere sunny and warm after so many months of rain and cold here!! ☀🌞😎
You did exactly what I wanted to do! I believe the detachable strap design is the correct approach for the Riya bag, giving it a casual and cool look. This bag has a great design but overlooked a feature that people need in their daily lives. Your idea is really cool!
That is so something I would do….I completely get why you did it. I’m 5’8” and small backpacks look silly on me but the wide longer straps make the Riya much more functional and appealing. Well done and thanks for sharing 😊
Hi 👋🏼 Quick question, what tripod do you use to hold your camera in the Birds Eye view? I can’t find one that actually holds my phone. Great video. I am planning on cutting my straps off also.
