A great idea to illustrate different gravities. But I assume that the gravity of the planets/sun begins after jumping. Because it will be difficult to accelerate on the moon, the adhesion of the wheels would be too low on Moon. On Sun, the cars would look like in a scrap press even they are simply parking.
Two more things that I hope were done. Each vehicle was going the same speed when it hit each ramp, even if they were going different speeds from each other. Also, I wonder what the atmosphere was modeled as for each gravity. For the moon and Mars jumps, they were long enough for air resistance to have an effect, especially on the semi tractor.
Fun fact: During the apollo 14 landing, astronaut Alan Shepard played golf on the moon. He had difficulty holding his club due to his stiff and bulky suit, forcing him to use only one hand but still managed to hit two shots. The first one tumbled into a crater 22m away while the second went further. Alan originally estimated the secont shot landed about 200m away but enhancements of pictures from the mission showed the ball landed only 37m away.
Really fun video. Like it! Some technical questions: 1) Seems like the specific gravity kicks in at the end of the ramp. Is that right? 2) At lower gravity some cars seem to fly partly due to the atmosphere. Can a you adjust lower air density, as you would have on very high mountains or almost no atmosphere as on the moon?
Hello, sorry for the late reply and thanks for the feedback ;) 1) Yes, I turned on different gravity values when the ramp ended, otherwise, for example, in the sun, I would not be able to accelerate, as the car pushes into the ground and it does not go 2) As for the density, I'm not sure if it can be changed, but I did not change it and I don't know how to change it, unfortunately
I'd like to see this repeated with the atmospheric pressure (or lack thereof) taken in to account. Then try adding wings/ aerodynamic stabilisers to prevent rolling in the air.
What I can see from the statistics is that, the larger the planet/boby the greater the gravity. Leaving the Moon with the smallest gravity and the sun with the highest gravity. Nice video 👍 keep it up.
The one thing this video lacks is how impactful atmospheres are on high gravity objects: If you had a solid planet with a very dense atmosphere with gravity like Juniper's, provided you had the means to "catch" the air when going airborne, it would actually be MUCH easier to stay airborne on a high gravity planet, since the air would have far, far more buoyancy. If there was life on some distant high gravity rocky planet, chances are a lot of the life would live their whole lives airborne in its sky for this reason.
On the moon, the cars wouldn't even get off the ground because there would be too little friction, and on the sun, they'd buckle in on themselves before they even started, despite the fact that the sun and Jupiter don't have solid surfaces to drive on . But otherwise a very interesting experiment.
9/10 scientists recommend doing high speed vehicle jumps on the sun is safe and effective. 1/10 scientists and everyone else strictly disagree but will gladly watch people follow the "science". So who wants popcorn as we watch 9 scientists do the jumps?
I was hoping you would include a table with all the results at the end of the video. It's difficult to try to remember all of those numbers when each run is done sequentially. Plus sometimes you want to focus on different vehicles on the same planet, and other times you wsnt to focus on one vehicle on different planets. Or whether the vehicles maintain the same relative distances to each other on different planets. All that would be easier to analyse with all the results listed in a tabular format.
Jupiter "surface" gravity = 24.79 m/s^2 (about 2.5 x Earth's). Sun "surface" gravity = 274 m/s^2 (about 28 x Earth's). It's not "comparable", it's a order of magnitude lower.

Even the way the truck looks like it's posing like a gigachad in the expectation and then just giving up instantly in the reality is 😂😂💀💀

I never considered that!
Thought the same thing about the sun, video was really cool but I doubt metal could hold up that well ☠️

2:27 the vertex na2 straight up flying😂😂
The sun ones are hilarious
Right??????😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stuck around just to see if the semi got any distance at all 😂
I love how the defender just looks like it gives up on the sun gravity and just goes no I'm mush now

What you expect: 1:51
Reality: 7:20

The sun got me rolling 🤣
lol. The semi was hilarious
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Moon: Expectations
Sun: Reality
This is a clever video.
One thing which isn't mentioned is that on the Sun and Jupiter the vehicles would probably collapse under their own weight.
They did when gravity kicked in at the end of the ramp
This video was owesome i love that you used the pigeon♥️ the poor truck on the sun Gravity💀
I have a crunch for the Sun's crushing gravity😁
Hello, thanks for watching me)
Actros with sun gravity had me dying lmao that thing just straight up faceplanted
If we colonise the moon, we wouldnt need an airport to fly somewhere. We just need a ramp.
Good thing since air planes wont work on the moon
Yeah...The moon was kind of a no brainer.
Jupiter and the sun were just comedy gold. ;)
8:11 self folding vehicle
Do you takes suggestions: If so, do some off-roading with the different gravities.
Hello, it's good and you can try)
The rover is the funniest car out of all. The fact that it would start, let alone get up to speed, is a miracle no matter what planet it’s on.
I'd like to see this repeated with the atmospheric pressure (or lack thereof) taken in to account. Then try adding wings/ aerodynamic stabilisers to prevent rolling in the air.
So picky

Bro. That Land Rover and Actros Truck literally ate the asphalt with the Sun's gravity!! Ouch...🤪😅👍

I like how the land rover and the truck simply folded in on themselves with solar gravity
Love how the windows shattered on the truck. Best game ever.

Now i know not to drive off ramps next time im bringing my car to the sun! Thanks for the video!
I wonder how different it may have been had the jumps been done at night?
2:24 Fly away Stanley, be freeeeeeeeeee!😂
For some reason the sound of the screeching brakes cracks me up! It's like the driver is saying oops! Oops watch out!😂
2:05 is Ryanair landing
A jumping challenge, so, safe landings are optional.
The moon can provide a safe landing, but not always
7:57 я ржу с этого ведра
Poor Defender lmao
The Vertex went 1.2 kilometers horizontally just by jumping on the moon. Holy shit.
Sun: *jumping is not a feature in this game*
1st Place: Vertex NA2 2nd Place: Pigeon STI-G 3rd Place: Land Rover Defender 4th Place: Mercedes-Benz Actros
Really good perspective.
Thanks for the informative upload 👍💯
The Defender on the sun was pretty funny.
This is the kind of high quality video I didn’t ask for but greatly appreciate. Very well done. I love it.
Vertex NA2 on the Moon is fire

1/10 scientists and everyone else strictly disagree but will gladly watch people follow the "science". So who wants popcorn as we watch 9 scientists do the jumps?
A better illustration would have been a down going ramp leading to a jump ramp in different gravities.
No way a car would jump/ fly for nearly 400 meters on earth or the truck for nearly 100m
Earth moon Jupiter mars sun
Why not uranus?
Lolz the sun with jeep and truck just crumpled like beer cans
4:56 And that how we get a short jeep with lower suspension 😂
handmade jeep 😅
OK?
@@WreckStation
Is a great place
Across and defender got absolutely nowhere in the first one 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Completely off topic but 7:23 sounds like Miss the Rage
5:38 bro was doing a cartwheel🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
idk why but this is so satisfying
Off road vehicles with long suspension should theoretically be perfect for Jupiter. As long as the shocks are stiff.
3:18 Land Rover defender (Moon gravity) just jumped farther than Vertex (Earth gravity)
The blue truck at the sun 😂😂😂😂😂
The Sun ramp should be renamed “Failure to Launch” ramp.
Oh, oh, now do a neutron star!
I think the vehicles would simply collapse in on themselves in an insta nope.
The moon gravity is like slowmo. Cars would do just the same with biggest speed and then slowmotion play.
7:07 Nemesis Crash🤣🤣🤣
3:45 Prime?!? Is that you?!?
Athat
Eu sou do Brasil
3:37 far dis 8:11 short dis
Moon: Ascension to Heaven.
Sun: Pratfall (splatfall??)
5:10 Jupiter got me rolling😂😂
Very interesting comparison, musta been a valued stash that you treated yourself to.
what about black hole?
Ohh black hole gravity is milions times greater.
Spaggetification instead of 180 cm you would be over 600 or 980 cm if you were on BLACK WHOLE
It is time for another great video 😄
Thanks as usual bro 😀👍
Caseoh when he’s driving the Car: 7:15
Neutron Star please. The car would be as flat as a pancake by the end of the ramp.
The last jump was the best XD
how do you guys measure meters? Is that just guess?
Hello fellow American
ikr
With measuring tape
Or like a ruler
@@funnyduck6134 he is talking about how you measure the distance the car travels in the game not the unit of measurement

X-C-Lent!! Next --> Neutron Star baby! Thank you wRECK sTATION. You RoCk
Sun was like break yo legs
Amazing video. Keep p the good work.
Thank dude!
a nother vid idea cars vrs broken bridge
If we want to go to the moon, we just need a huge ramp
The reason why it’s hard to accelerate it was because the tires I have not that much group to it it’s not as heavy to weigh it down
Actually you can't drive sun like gravity...it's impossible.
Excellent visualisation
Your jumps: *Sun*
The jumper she tells you know not to worry about: *Moon*
the sun turned the cars into a puddle lol
See? Science is fun
Always cool friends, keep up the enthusiasm and good luck 👍
Thank you, I like your comments and your activity, thank you!
02:37 - Delta non-Airlines, a whole new way to fly!
1:43 moon
Bro in the suns gravity the cars are like melting 👁👄👁
Shoutout to the guys who cleared up the wrecks after each run👏😅
ayo my comment up there
Ahora entiendo todo la gravedad de cada Planeta hace que su Distancia sera muchisimo mas Lejos que antes
I think Jupiter wasn't realistic. Must have been comparable to the sun.
Jupiter "surface" gravity = 24.79 m/s^2 (about 2.5 x Earth's). Sun "surface" gravity = 274 m/s^2 (about 28 x Earth's). It's not "comparable", it's a order of magnitude lower.
@@andressigalat602 Ok. Interesting. Then I was wrong.
Dude the semi sun jump was hilarious
Maybe let’s just stick on earth better idea I think
:)
Oh, the sun...
_Squish_
I'm sure he's fine....
you should have added the flying vertex passing by as one of the test cars was flying through the air with moon or mars gravity
7:57 😂
the cars are just torsing to death ☠ ☠
Ivery suprise the cars really didn't get all that damage
Me:from the previous video I saw the yellow car become bumblebee after the heavy sun🤣🤣🤣
Wreck Station💗💗💗
My in a game jump 2:23. There jump in a game 7:14
I suppose the sun’s gravity is so powerful, no car survives the ramp.
Nice
