She's a beauty. Very glad I decided to get her
she's gorgeous & love the clothes&bag,boots love love her🙂
Another great review. Thank you, Edmond. Gorgeous panel, as usual.
Great and detailed review!!! Loved it!! I was like: mmm I knew this head sculpt, she reminds me of an older doll, probably like the Models of the Moments, she kinda reminds me of Marisa, mmm nop, she didn't have that nose, maybe Daria? mm and now I know it was Michelle. I was so close!!! So sad about the wonky eye, since she is a very pretty doll!!
A note from Human Resources?! Alysa, you in danger girl! 😮
I'm waiting for my #Roots Shoes that I ordered, just like in the 80thies...🛍😊
I got them now, they are super cool and walk amazing 😘❤️
I was very surprised to discover that they used the Curvy Playline articulated body, when I saw the promotional images I believed it was the Curvy Collector articulated body which is more voluptuous (like your Selma doll) and in my opinion more interesting, and above all it doesn't have those irregular textures (half shiny , half matte) on the legs
I was finally able to order one from Roots USA. Just checked daily to finally catch one in stock. ☺️
I didn't expect that an HR would ever take on Alysa 😝 I like the rustic vibes of this doll! Sorry about the wonk eye 😬
She was in their offices for over an hour lololol
I live in Canada, and I ordered one doll from Mattel (hasn’t come yet) and one from Roots online. Although the price was better from Roots for Canadians, they marked the doll as a “final sale”. So, I was disappointed when mine came with asymmetrical eyes even worse than Edmond’s and 2 small globs in the lip paint. I hope my doll from Mattel is better, but I have seen at least one other reviewer with a wonk-eyed doll. I rated the doll on the Roots website with a photo, but they never published it. This whole experience is not generating much goodwill from me towards the company, but i do like her outfit at least.
How awful!
You're meant to sew the collar ribbing stretched at 110% or so so it lays nicely flat and the "neck hole" its connected to is like longer than the neck ribbing. It's like it's messed up.
NOT the note from human resources! LMAO
This doll's arrival took me by complete surprise and by the time I got a good look at her she was already sold out so I guess this is just a moment of me missing out.
They probably eat at BKs also. Alyssa struck too close to home if they stepped in.
Give her leggings, and she could be my mini me. She's a pretty base doll. I like to collect dolls with different face molds. Disappointed at this price the jacket doesn’t have sewn on patches.
Edmond, I want to be you. I adore dolls and I am partial to Poppy Parker. I would love to do what you do for a career. ❤
Yes, but I’m pretty sure this not his career. UA-cam doesn’t pay enough for the vast majority of creators to count on it for their livelihood. This happens in my other hobby of board games too. Even the larger channels with hundreds of thousands of UA-cam subscribers also need things like Patreon, Kickstarter, and sponsorships to keep going.
@@c.w.2000 I am sure that it isn't his career. I was just kidding around.
@@c.w.2000These creators need to realize that if you don't have any followers, you don't have a channel.
Oh good. I have seen some creators work hard and then get disappointed because they didn’t know how little UA-cam pays.
Me too lololol
That's not a side eye, that's almost an ear eye.... The idea is cute, a barbs walking to her shift flipping burgers type of lewk, at least is not pink. Hopefully they can help you with that misprint.
LOL, I can't see anything other than that big eye! I know that's normal for Mattel but hopefully you didn't pay more than $30.00 for her.
That chick looks like Alysa's cousin 😂😂😂
Don’t tell Alysa lol
