It’s not outdated one but. How many times were we actually outclassed all season? Most of our games were actually winnable with a developed striker up top. No manager is coming to save us. That is the reality. The squad is too young and inexperienced yet Poch was able to get significant performances out of them. Let us no forget that it was half a squad for three quarters of the season. Let the man cook. We cannot afford to start over.

His tactics are terrible. Yes we could have won games but we could also have lost any of them. We are never in control and the chances we give up are big ones. We have conceded the most goals in our history there is a reason for that. You can blame players or commitment but when one or two players under perform it’s the players, when the whole team struggle bar a few it’s the coach and tactics.

Then what? Have the same problem with the next manager. I want to see senior players in to help show consistency, standards, leadership and especially winning mentality. Players and managers are good, but using common sense being involved with the game you can see the fundamentals that are needed. That’s not sacking the management at this stage. Poch won’t be there forever, he is there to settle the squad to resemble a team. Once that is achieved I’m sure when the right winning manager is available we move for them. But to just sack Poch without context of who can fix this mess is just silly. Mourinho and Conte will ruin these young fragile generation of players. I think Poch actually has the right personality for it, and tactics for the young players to express themselves. But things need to settle. Injuries are a major part of that. We need consistency of players picked in CB, CDM, CF and Keeper. The core needs to be set, it needs to be set by more experienced players to guide and coach the young potential superstars in game. Players need to be calm but committed when suffering out of possession in a deep block as an example, that’s what experience will give you.

What I don’t get is this.. if that injury is affecting Enzo performances why is poch playing him anyway he doesn’t make the team better with that injury and it’s not like he doesn’t have any other options. He could easily drop Gallagher deeper and play carney or Palmer in the 10. It’s just baffling.
A coach can have injury that’s something every team face, but the minimum is to have a pattern of defending and attacking. For this season with Poch we never saw one. Poch out.

I definitely believe the coach has to go. There needs to be an actual plan and a style of playing in order for the team to be effective and so the kids would learn. You can get that in a better coach that has a good tactical mind.

Im still Bottlettino out. It's his in game management that has cost us games. Caesidi was recalled from loan for what reason? And he was very impactful on loan. He has Chukwuemeka even with his cameo in one of the games weeks ago. His link up with Madueke was unreal. Then as for defenders Silva and Chalobah are on form as a pair. Why didnt he start them against Arsenal? Sterling experience despite poor form he should have started against Man City or at least against Arsenal. Enzo is destined to be sold among all the other players who can't hack it in the Prem. Reality needs to reach the new owners with this club's plans and overall function. Beyond the pervasive dysfunction at Chelsea, there's still the problem of finding likeable, capable and persistently determined players for the non-number 10 and non-winger roles. GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEXT ROUND OF SCOUTING AND SQUAD COMPOSITION, "CFC" BLUECO. Fans need to vacate while ownership learns.

If we fail to get any form of European football then I think we need to seriously consider a new manager. There are lots of top quality guys out there currently, Amorim, Michel, Motta etc all playing more progressive football than Poch
Glad enzo is having surgery, gets him back to fitness, hopefully he can find some good form with his national team. I know people are down on poch but i think it's always good when the players back the manager. Morale is crucial for young players.
I’m so torn. As a person, I get not wanting to change your gaffer. You need continuity. As a athlete, tho I was never close to this level, you want to be put in a position to win, and I don’t see the tactical nous from Poch to assure me that he’s best for the job.
I worry that a big part of the players support is comfort. If they were 25, ok cool. But they are kids, and as a kid, I needed my Pops and my coach to sometimes make me uncomfortable to progress.

I would actually tend to agree, everyone wanted Poch out after the Arsenal game but it’s not long ago that we hammered Everton, we’ve also made it to 1 cup final and the FA cup semi final ( and we were robbed of a penalty in that game )plus the amount of excellent players we’ve brought that have long term injuries, very hard to judge Poch when we have so many injuries and we were told at the start that this would be a process that would take time so I wouldn’t be against Poch getting another season and hopefully we can get all our players fit and then we can judge him

Imagine giving Poch experienced players and the team still playing garbage. This is very possible! Forget points and use your eyes as judge. We look like one of the worst coached teams in the league. Even teams with less talented players play better than us.

I understand the injuries, the inexperience of the team, and the fact they like Poch but, I also fully believe our squad is good enough to be *comfortably* between 4-6. Only a manager with tactics more suited to the squad will change that… that isn’t Poch even tho he isn’t a bad manager at all.

To hear that the players want Poch to stay is one of the saddest things to hear about the state of this club. On second thought, it’s not strange because these players absolutely have no idea what it means to be a Chelsea player. They don’t know what Chelsea FC stands for. They don’t know what it takes to be a winner. That’s why they want Poch because he covers their mediocrity. It’s so sad and disappointing.

A lot of coaches had injuries but we are the only ones making excuses about them. Poor recruitment? Poch didn’t even play Ian mattsen this year and look how good he’s doing. He fails to play his young players and whine about. He barely even played Case since he came from loan. It’s a reason why everybody is hurt too including Lavia (who never missed any serious time)

Any game we have 2CM. That's Gallagher and calcedo we play a better attacking football.

I really don’t know why so many people think we are going to get really good experienced players. Our financial position is ambiguous and who would want to come. We will only get decent money for academy players or the couple of decent players we have. I don’t know any club that would buy Mudryk he looks like a sprinter who has never played football and so many of them have a bad mentality. This is going to be a long and painful process.
Why hasn't this op for Enzo happened sooner...it's not as if he couldn't (or Chelsea for that matter) afford it?
