I saw the stadiums and street suffixes right away and then stared at it for a very very long time before putting 'fountain, gutter, teapot, whale' together on a whim because they all had water in common (no clue why I choose whale over fish lol).
Oh no, tough Connections. I didn't fully get blue and purple categories but I had a hunch and made only one error. Good Mini. 1:11 for me. Great Strands. Only one misclick for me.
You did mention scales early on (around 2;30) but unfortunately didn't go on to fish because then you might have had a stab at solfedge which is what i did on my last guess. Never heard of that either 😂
I think gab appeared in the big crossword a week or two back and I didn't think too much of the clue , because it didn't allow for the " the" that you need in the reference in the UK. That is to say the saying here is " the gift of the gab". Now I'm wondering if the US does indeed omit the the. Book it or booking does not mean speeding in the UK !
"Solfege" is the name for the "do, re, mi, sol, fa, ti, do" thing, although, like how we use the term "alphabet" for alphabets that don't have letters called "alpha" or "bet", "solfege" also gets used to refer to any set of names for musical notes.
We just got new gutters for our house and we had to discuss where the downspouts would go so that category was easy for me lol
Wow, never realized that about colosseum/coliseum; thanks for digging that up!

The only alley street I know of is Diagon Alley lol
I know Tin Pan Alley is a thing, though I can’t remember what it refers to lol
@@SethWilson Pop music
@@SethWilson Pop music - it sort of referred to the music publishing industry , collectively I think.
