- I had this Hansgrohe Metro kitchen faucet and it started leaking where the braided hose connects to the sprayhead. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new hose to install which fixed the problem
Here is the link to my original review after installing the metro faucet. jeffreyveffer.com/2009/09/03/s...
Jeffrey Veffer - Thanks for posting your video. I spent several frustrating hours over a period of two days trying to replace my Grohe through-the-faucet sprayer hose. I just could NOT get the hose to feed through the faucet. Then I watched your video and you mentioned that the faucet MUST be in the centered position or else the hose won't feed through the faucet for some reason. Well, five minutes later I had the hose out. I also recommend slowly turning the hose while pulling it through the faucet. A little silicone grease on the end of the hose helps too. Repeat the process in reverse to install the new hose. I also recommend taking a few digital pictures of the faucet while disassembling it step by step. It really helps when you start to reassemble and can't remember where all of those many, many parts go. Thanks again!
1notgilty - Glad it helped! It took me a while (and a few Google searches) to figure this out. But I've noticed one thing after installing this- the hose was coiled in the package a certain way and now no matter how much I fiddle with it, the head won't return to the 'central' position when it's fully retracted. I am going to adjust the counterweight and maybe that will help.
Thanks a demonstration on how you changed it without scratching it all up would have been nice. Mine has the new attachment quick relase, but started to leak after two years of moderate to light use. nice that they supplied a replacement part free. But they haven't fixed a long known problem is disappointing.
Very helpful. This solved my problem and reduced my cost. I was going down the path of replacing the entire faucet when all I needed to do was replace the hose. Helpful hints (like how to feed the hose in the center) made it what would have been a frustrating process a simple one. Thank You!
Tom Williams - you’re most welcome. Glad it helped
Thanks for posting the video. I have exact problem with leaking out of the neck of the faucet. I will contact tomorrow the manufacturer.
Excellent Jeffery -- thank you very much for sharing your insights and experiences. Much appreciated.

Hi Jeffery, thanks for your video! Im trying to replace it too, and faucet head is not coming off. How did you take off head? Could you advise me? Thank you
Nice
Hi Jeffrey, your video is very helpful. I am wondering if you can provide me Hansgrohe manufacturer's contact information as my braided house is also leaking. Thank you!
Ping Shen here is what I found customerservice@hansgrohe-usa.com. Good luck!
I cannot get the sprayer head off. Hate to damage it.
hi there - Take a look at this video for how the manufacturer recommends removing the spray head ua-cam.com/video/Au_bUqU19Bs/v-deo.html
No value other then you told us you replaced hose
Except you didn't show the connection on the other end under the sink
The sprayer disconnect is a piece of cake
This video was of no help to me
didnt show anything, just talked. how was it attached under the sink? etc. waste of time.
Waste of two minutes with no actual repair demonstrated.
