Thanks for the review, you mentioned $250/night was that with a discount? I know it was a year ago now, but everything is $550-$800/night now? Any tips?
Such a great video! I agree, Fairmont Chateau Whistler is pretty incredible. Thank you for taking the time to put this informative tour together! I’m looking forward to my next stay.
This makes me want to stay there. I stayed at Four Seasons next door and created content on it, too! Hard to tell which one is better as they both seem wonderful! Thanks for the great video! 🎉
This place looks like a wonderful place to stay! We passed it years ago, when visiting Whistler one summer day. Might have to stay here sometime. That “kitchen,” as the Spunky Princess calls it, looked like it had AMAZING food! Thanks for this great review, Chris!
May I suggest a subject for a future video: do you know the best hotel chain in the US for Budget /lower-end Hotel/Motel accommodation? No, I am not talking about hostels etc, but for ex. ECONO lodge, Super8, Yotel or Holiday Inn Express. Could you tell us (in your opinion) the best 5 economical hotel chains in the US? A chain that usually has clean rooms and free parking for example? I don't know... do you?
That hotel looks amazing! I'll have to make sure I stay there when I get a chance to finally go to Whistler! I usually don't mind too much if I have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to many of the attractions or restaurants, so that should not be a concern.
I would have given it a 4 1/2 Tophers; deducting 1/2 Topher only because there was a minibar instead of a refrigerator. I need that refrigerator to put my water bottles and cold cut sandwiches in; for some of us having a fridge in the room is a big deal. I can’t stomach those exuberant and abusive water bottle and snack prices at hotels. Otherwise, it’s an all around lovely place. Thanks for a wonderful review, as always, Chris.
@@YellowProductions Thankfully, for toddlers they tend to bend backwards. As for grownups, sometimes they could careless. Notwithstanding, it seems like a great place to stay. And your review was both entertaining and informative, as always.
How many hotels have gotten five tophers, Chris? But everything looked first rate but still with like a welcoming vibe and not too stuffy. That box to store the TV remote looked clever also. It seems the last couple places I've stayed they are back to pre-covid procedures and just laying the remote in front of the TV without even being covered in a plastic sleeve.
I’ve been enjoying your videos. Watched a few of the Whistler series. But I think you should add a little bit of criticism in your reviews because we’ll lose retention if everything is just “great”. Try complaining a little bit more about the bar fridge, or maybe make a little joke about how the chocolate isn’t really “free” because Fairmont is overpriced lol. It won’t affect the quality of your content, and it will keep it real for your viewers ✌️
Thanks for the suggestion Brad. For my critical side you might enjoy my video on the worst cheap hotels on the Las Vegas strip: ua-cam.com/video/yR1cpLJYuuI/v-deo.html
4 of my cousins used to work there. One of the 4 travels around the world training people for Fairmont Hotels. Pretty cool, huh? Or should I say ehh? My mother is Canadian. Im not.

I've been here and everything you said about the restaurant Portobello is in fact true. It is so good and I could eat there everyday.
Me too! 😉
That looks like an awesome hotel my friend. WOW
It was!
A delicious looking breakfast! I felt like I was traveling. Thank you for the wonderful video.🥰
Awesome mogublog!
I love the fairmont properties, they always go one step beyond

We booked well in advance and used Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts booking platform

Thanks JP! We wandered through the Four Seasons and it definitely looked nice too
Wow ! Beautiful Hotel. Love the decor, food looks amazing. Adding this hotel to our list. Thanks Chris.
My pleasure Colleen!
Hi Chris. Very nice room with nice amenities in the room. Great that they have great customer service. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks James!
That is a gorgeous hotel! We will have to consider a trip to Whistler next year. Great review as always!
Thanks Sandy!

She definitely loved "the kitchen" ;)

THANKS FOR THE REVIEW
Thanks Linda!
Grandpa Richard is happy to see a bath tub in the bathroom!
Most definitely! Rub a dub dub!
The Balcony is called a Juliette Balcony!

Hi Peter.. thanks for the suggestion. Although I'm not sure that I'm qualified to so such a video since I don't generally frequent those chains
Woah 5 tophers???????? This seems like a great place. I am staying here with my uncle soon. Seems great
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

You'd definitely enjoy this one Scott!

Since we ended with the fridge for free since we had a toddler with us perhaps that's why it didn't bug me more

3 hotels have the prestigious 5 Topher award 😉
Nice hotel
I think they sent you up a fridge for free because of the "Gold" level. We have stayed there and paid extra for a fridge.
Free fridge because we needed it to keep our daughters milk cold
We also stayed there and paid for an extra fridge as well
5 tophers???? I think that 37$ parking fee kills it
$37 parking here was cheaper than the $75 parking at the Fairmont Vancouver :)
Parking should only be charged if you do Valet only. Self-Park should be free.

Neat! Eh!
Sir, i spent 45 dolars /day, in good hotel for me. campos do jordão parque hotel. with a car, i go visit the city.
Thirty-seven dollars a day for garage parking...that's about what I pay for a room in Thailand; maybe ask if you can sleep in the car.
Hah! That would be one way to save money for sure!
