Helene Hanff is one of my very favorite books about books authors ❤️ I have been dipping into Jennifer’s videos, and I’m so glad you brought her to my attention in such a heartfelt way in your previous video. I can certainly understand the outpouring of grief when she passed away last month. I would like to read at least some of the books she highlights in her Richard III video.
I read 84 Charing Cross Road a few years ago, after hearing you talk about it. I loved it so much and I'm due for a reread. 🤓 The Tudor book sounds really interesting, I'm currently reading Dan Jones' The Wars of the Roses. Thanks for sharing.
I wanna read that Tudor book, now ❤ I love 84, Charing Cross Road, both the book and the movie. I like Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, both the book and the movie. It's kind of like a fairy tale without any supernatural elements. I want to read both The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street and Mrs Harris Goes To New York. Funny cuz in one a NYer goes to London and in the other, a Londoner goes to NY.
Fun to hear your thoughts, Catherine!
Thanks@
Yes, the Henry VII book sounds a good one.😊
It was!
84 Charing Cross Road is one of my favorite, thank you Catherine, we love you.
Thank you!

I will read Dan Jones eventually. I think I saw documentaries he did.

Across the pond!
The movie was good!
I need to reread 84 Charing across!
Yes!
I just picked up the movie Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris from the library. Maybe I better read the book first 🤔
Sometimes it's OK to see the movie first.
