Really good video, I do simuler in my buisness 1. I check the car with my customer, and set the expectations of what can be achived 2. I ask the customer if there is something she/he wants me to be extra aware of or surten focus area they want me to clean extra 3. add ons... I let my customer know if there is add on that would be good for there situation and make a final price for the total At the end of the detail let the customer see the car and get paied
Great video once again. I wanted your opinion on weather there is a difference between a normal led flash light and a paint correction light to find paint defects. Thank you
I just started and your videos are very helpful, in a month I serviced over 50 cars just by advertising for lower prices and word of mouth. There is so much to learn, but good thing I have had only one complaint.
Good points. Only thing I might add. Don't nudge them more than 2-3 times on a review or you may start to give the customer the impression that you're a pushy salesman in a way.
I forget what the effect is called but it’s the reason why we have book editors. As an author you can write the book, proofread, read again, put it aside for a few days, read it again, and there will STILL be errors. You’re too close to the writing and your brain sees it in a certain way. It’s the same with detailing. You can spend 12 hours in a car and they might STILL find something wrong.
I do the 1st two things already and i did 3rd thing with 2 of my customers but then i just kinda forgot about asking for online reviews.. Thanks for reminding me.
Hi oscar, huge fan but I do have a question about marketing. When you say send a link for a review what can I use to get reviews? So far my work has only been through mouth to mouth people and a bit of social media posting
Hi Oscar, What would be your thoughts on carrying a pre-printed duplicate booklet with you which allows you to point out to the client he service and price they are getting, so you can check it off and give them a copy? - it would list exactly what is included in each level of detail, so they know that, for example, the basic detail they chose does not include deep seat cleaning. But they can add on a spot clean of say one seat...and you can add that to the price or throw it in for free...yet they know now that you have included a nice little extra for FREE = Happy customer I'm curious what you think of that way of handling expectations BEFORE the work starts
all true i also give a check list with everything performed. My only problem is pricing the amount of customers i get asking for price with out me seeing car. If i exlpain price most go nuts they all want my full package for $40. LOL ..
Great Job! How do you get paid? Do they pay you by cash right after the job is done or do you ask they pay you before you commence work? How can you go about making sure the customer pays you and not abscond after job is done?
I wonder about pre-existing dents, scratches, etc. Would it seem like a bit much to have a sheet with sketches of a vehicle where you can note existing damage and have the customer sign, so they can't blame you for doing it? Also, I wonder if you have pre-printed quote documents where you can tick off what package they are getting, what it includes, and the price....plus add in extra items they want taken care of with a total at the bottom....they sign it at the start so they can't say at the end that they were expecting something that you are not including? Just some thoughts I'm throwing out there...
Hi Oscar. I had that are you happy they say yes very pleased. Then a call to say I was not happy with somethink I replie but we walked around the car you was pleased that's people for you. I had a call 7 days later call from them not happy there is a mark on the seat went back and the kids have trashed the car biscuits formula milk she thinks am going to clean it again free it turns out they was selling the car hahaha. No I did not clean it.

Digging that shirt.... Adams produces great fitting shirts with soft material. They fit great especially after getting a good pump at the gym ha.
