- This is the first video in the Y62 exhaust series. Here we take a good look at the Manta cat back system. Without a doubt this is a sweet sounding exhaust and is on the medium to loud scale. Yes it does drone a bit but in return the Manta delivers a sensational note.

Running the Manta turbo back DFP delete twin 3” (they call it medium) on our 200 and love the down low grunt exhaust note! Can’t go past a Manta system (in my opinion)
I’m running manta system with secondary cats delete, centre muffler delete and a straight through rear muffler. Deep and loud. Gets lots of positive feedback.

Need to sit in the back seat as I have xforce right up to the first cats and it loud in the back seat so on long trips I shut vortex muffle to 100% closed and makes a big difference but when I want noise i open or over taking or drag racing off the line at the light hahah so they can hear there defeat before it happens

does this include some sort of car delete? Just got my Y62 (older ST-L) and super keen to get an exhaust system.
Honestly in your opinion was this one of the exhausts you loved the most??
Currently have a pacemaker with dual muffler and love the smooth deep note but wish it was dialled up a few notches on the volume knob. Been a lot of thought and procrastination around getting a new system but narrowed it to a manta with hotdog centre (medium but loud).
Just curious on your opinion since you have tested most
I have tested a lot now and basically have worked out my favourites and then branded them as DASH. Depending on price point, DASH Zero with cat deletes is my favourite as it can get loud when on the right pedal but doesn’t have any bad sounds. If there isn’t a budget, then I’d suggest the DASH SAMURAI
Hey mate looking at either the manta cat back or a full system with a valve. what do you reckon the real benifits are of a full system over a manta catback?(looking for a exhaust that will turn heads and be loud when foot down but not as loud when motoring along hence why i was looking at a valved full system)
I can’t say I’m a fan of the valved systems

What Towbar are you running to fit that full size spare ?
Hi David, random question, what towbar are you running in this video? And did a 295/70R18 fit underneath ok? 👍
I see people can fit this size tyre underneath with the genuine nissan towbar, but not sure on after market towbars... Cheers

be careful, doing this makes the car illegal.. lol. The new cats are basically empty pipes. I know this as I took my Y62 mods, incl supercharger over the pits....
