I'm buying one tomorrow, a 1995! Same exact paint color and wheel color! This bike has always caught my eye ever since I was a kid. I feel like a kid again filled with joy and excitement.
I just bought a 1989. Black with the red stripe. 31 years old and it’s all stock. 44k on dial. Reminds me of the early 90’s. good to be back on an ole crotch rocket!!! @Dakota
1993 , Was in the Marince Corps Training in the Desert in California. Saved up for a bike to buy when i got back to Lejeune. Although i wasnt in love with the colors. I Grew up an Fz/ Fzr fan in high school. So i was dying to buy one. . It had the teal stripe instead of the yellow shown here. 3 days after i got it. I tried to remove that ugly stripe with remover. Left a cloudy film on the bike i could never get off. I was dissapointed. About a week later. I walked out of the barrcks to get on it. And someone had sat on it and dumped it. Broke the right side mirror and scratched it all to hell. I was heart broken. But i did have some great times riding to Myrtle Beach and partying. Even fufilled a promise to my High School girl friend. I was such a FZR fan in school, I told my girlfriend one day i would take her riding along the coast on one. In my yearbook she signed .."FZR California, me and you one day".. 3 years later. Shes on the back and i'm takingher along the Carolina coast. It wasn't California. But it was a small dream fufilled , i will never forget. Looking back. Those were the best few years of my life. I'm just glad i was able to realize in those moments that they would be. Take tme ti ...stop.............and take a mental picture of the good times. Because they go by in an instant....
I owned one just like this in 2001. I sold it in 2004 because I realized I was going to get killed if I kept riding it like I was. I was young and invincible at the time. I wish I had that bike back now days that I am wiser.
@@dylank4353 Just saw this, I am 6' 2" and it was a little small for me. Other than that no issues. Mine had some engine work done by the previous owner and was scary fast. It would not hesitate to wheelie in 4th gear, so they are quick bikes or at least mine was. They are small enough to throw into curves and manhandle a bit. Whatever route you go, be careful because they will do every MPH that it shows on the speedometer.
Lovely bike, I've got a 1991 FZR, it's Black, Purple and Pink. I've had it for 14years, it's waiting for me to restore it at the moment. It's got the single headlight, even with a top quality bulb, the light is poor. Apart from that, it's a great bike. I also have the later Foxeye model, the lights are brilliant on that.
Gdzie można kupić takie owiewki ? Mam takiego z 1993 i jakiś debil przemował go na biało (a felgi na czerwono i to tak nieudolnie że oryginalny lakier wyłazi). Chciałbym przywrócić go do oryginału ale ciężko jest dostać gdziekolwiek oryginalne owiewki/plastiki

Wow, that is minty! I had a '93 that I bought new and I remember how disappointed I was that they were all out of the '94. Great looking bike.

She was my first bike and man did I love it!!!! The only thing I dident like was how small the back tire is but everything else I loved!

How was this bike for comfort? I see one like a hour away, and I'm thinking about this one or a 96 yzf600 that's 5 hours away
