I liked his rapport with the audience and guests on the show. He was so funny and made every interview feel welcoming and warm. His successor just doesn't have the same vibe.
The shorter Finnish girl at the beginning has the definition of a wry smile. Also, I had no idea there were giggly Swiss. I’ve been to Zurich, Bern and Basel a number of times, and no giggles.
That's just typical Finnish behaviour. Many Finns go to great lengths to avoid unnecessary attention. While they were determined to have a great time on the set, they probably felt at least nervous but also ashamed for being at the center of everything. Well, nervous and ashamed sound like too strong words: they're obviously fine with being on stage since they ended up there in the first place. But that's probably the root for their reactions. To me it seemed like Siru was able to ground herself on the stage while Niina was more nervous, although both were able to present themselves well. I wouldn't be surprised if they were studying to become English teachers.
Does anyone change their close ever? Most studio audience that come for the second time wear the same clothes, I started suspecting that they film multiple segments in a row and air it throughout the week

You've watched this too many times when you know all the restaurant names that they send the people to Edit: I spelled restaurant right, I just Googled it, cuz it didn't catch it, so I couldn't believe it. That was the first time!
Okay, so can someone explain the continuity of this show? How are some of the guests on different dates (Craig's in different suits) but its obvious its the same day as they are still in their same outfits? Is it that they do a lot of the cold opens on the same day?
They always taped the Thursday and Friday show both on Thursday. Sometimes they also taped on Wednesday but the Friday show was always taped on a previous day. And some shows were taped sometimes months in advance for occasions when Craig did standup gigs for example and wasn't in LA.
Petreanna Aching I think they also sometimes taped way early to accommodate some guests who couldn't make the scheduled date. For example they have to leave LA to shoot a movie for a few months. yesman is correct though, Craig would do a standup tour lasting a few weeks across America each summer so they had to tape a lot of episodes early.
Apparently they taped holiday shows early, too. Like the one where he mentions Memorial Day. I think that was the second Betty one. I think they did that one a week or two ahead of time. So they did her first appearance and then taped the Memorial Day show after (likely immediately after). Maybe they even taped her segments back to back since she was already miked up.

I'm sure he got more action in his non-married years than he "shows", maybe its frowned upon to date ones guests as a host and therefore he dated em without ever announcing any suchs...as for the guests, i dont think he ever did date one of those. What do you think?

This was the best late night talk show, hands down. Ferguson was so wonderfully witty and wacky. Pure gold every night.
Love that Craig actually took the time to get to know his audiences unlike a lot of other hosts and presenters.
This show was driven solely by Craig's unique charisma and wacky, sometimes dark, sometimes crass sense of humour. We won't see his like again.
