Ya gotta love a weather forecaster who uses the technical term, "skedaddle" - correctly.
This is the most true comment ever................... W
Love it!
I'd rather deal with two feet of snow than 1/2 inch of ice. Stay safe everyone!
Amen!!
Wet or powder snow?
@@williamfindspeople4341 we got wet snow, powder is easier to deal with
Waiting to see how bad it gets overnight: school on time, school delayed, or kids home all day
Absolutely agree! The ice is just awful and extremely dangerous
The problem here (central IL) is we had 2 rounds of heavy wet snow followed by subzero temps, and now we're getting freezing rain on top of it. My yard has 8" of hard compacted snow/ice and about to get another 1/2". To put it in perspective, 2 weeks ago Sunday we had the boat out bass fishing on my buddy's lake and saw a little skim ice in shady pockets. Yesterday (Sunday) we spent the day ice fishing and had 5-6" of ice with 2-3" of snow on top. Last night into today, we got 1/4" of freezing rain on top of it all. It's like all of winter saved up its fury and dumped on us in January.
Mid-Missouri here. At 5:30 am, I tried to drive to work. I didn’t even get to the end of the block before sliding off the street a bit. I went straight back home! Stay safe, everyone!
My son's friend Tyler had a similar experience trying to get to work this morning. We are near Branson, MO.
Same Here!
@@Karen_Busch oh wow that's close to us. but yea we had out issues getting to the car.
Texan here. It barely snowed and many had the same experience as you lmao.
South Central Illinois here, ditto.
Best weather channel on UA-cam. Thank you for all you and the Y'all squad do.
At this point, people are just saying this for likes. It's always the top comment under every new post.
As a truck driver I’m starting to hate to see his notifications on my feed smh
I agree❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
....ditto . lol@@hellrell4L
She must watch a lot of UA-cam channels because I see her comments on a lot of videos.
I have lived through ice storms. A half inch of ice is nothing to ignore!Even a quarter in. is devastating! Power lines, trees will be coming down. For any of you reading this and thinking it won't do much, think again. You better prepare now!
And don't go take a walk lightly. I once broke my arm underestimating an ice storm....
No it’s not!!! Absolutely dangerous.
The worst I’ve experienced was back in probably 2002 here in north east Kansas. There was a solid 3” of ice dropped in two consecutive nights. Haven’t had anything like since then.
We're in Missouri and EVERYTHING was covered in a sheet of ice this morning. My poor dog looked like baby Bambi ice skating, just trying to get to the yard. My sister is a trauma nurse in the ER and before 9am today, they had more than 75 patients, from people slipping and falling 😬 Thankfully it warmed up in the late afternoon and melted it all.
This man is right I just had an ice storm with over an inch my city has been working to get power back on for over 2 weeks. my state has to call state of emergency for my city as of now I have been without power for 10 days better get a generator asap before you can’t get one and your fu*ked
Asking for prayers for my hubby, Brian.. His biopsy and scan results came back positive for Cancer. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
🙏
🙏
@JC
Prayers of healing for Brian being said. 🙏
🙏🏻
Praying for a complete recovery for Brian. In Jesus' name🙏
He is here the man who speaks weather.❤
His language is ☁☁⛅🌤🌪🌪🌧🌩🌂☂☂☔🌩⛅⛈
"He is here. The man who speaks weather."
I am a Canadian from Toronto Canada, but your news channel is the only news channel on weather I watch. Luckily, the weather patterns that travel through upper US states tends to affect Toronto the same. It certainly be awesome if you created a Canadian channel, or at least included major Canadian cities like Toronto, Montreal & Vancouver in your weather report. I only ask this because you by far are the best most entertaining, an accurate weather man I’ve seen.
Thank you for your consideration.
I second that. Please include Canadian regions too
Agreed. I'm just outside of Toronto and watch your forecast all the time. Please include some Canadian info.
I'm not in Canada but I want to be. I support this request too!
+1
Please do Montréal
Thank you, Ryan, for being our best weather forcaster 😊
only for the south im done with him
I'm just glad it's warming back up in alabama. These single digits have been killing us.
You should ask the Governor for Your Tax Money Back.
It's Supposed to be Hot in Alabama , isn't It, The Govs Ripping You Off.
Demand Your Money Back.
Don't rush it, it will be hot again soon enough.
@eddycurrent1664, i know what you mean. I am in South GA, and i am not complaining about this cold. It will HOT soon enough.
Hello from Michigan, what's the big deal? 😂
@@falconquest2068 lol yall complain when it hits 90 and that's a cool day for us
Thank you Ryan Hall ❤❤❤❤
Here it is at 241 PM and we are still slick, no just rain. I live north of Joplin, Missouri and we still have a lot of slick roads.
My hubby is a over the road trucker, Ryan we watch your videos religiously!!! You are literally a blessing, he watches and then tells dispatch nope I'm not going there. God bless you sweetheart!!❤🎉
Mine is to thank goodness for RYAN.BE SAFE I PRAY PEOPLE KEEP THEIR EYES OPEN AND PROTECT OUR TRUCKERS GIVE THEM ROOM AND DO NOT CUT THEM OFF
God bless truckers. They keep the nation alive and moving forward. Be careful, keep rested and know you are appreciated!
Winfield Missouri, 31 degrees, over 1/4" of ice already and freezing rain still coming down. 35 miles NW of St Louis MO
Thank you Ryan... we appreciate you so much. Hope the newest member of your family and everyone else is doing Great❤
Yes, we need a new little weather forecaster update!
we are in stillwater and oh boy last night was insanity with the freezing rain.
Thanks for the update Ryan.
Woke up to a decent glazing of ice in Sedalia, MO. It's all melted off now.
These ice storms are the worst. It was misting a lot so it was like glass this morning in OKC. Hanging out right around 32 degrees and just dreary and gross.
I'm in St. Louis and we woke up to 2-3mm of clear ice! Everything was closed today.
But right now, the freezing rain has become liquid rain and the temperature is currently 34. So all ice is gone and it's just wet and cold now.
Thankfully this is an extremely rare event!
Yeah Kansas City wasn't no joke this morning. Everyone stay safe.
Hi. Here in St. Louis, Missouri, we have a slick coating of ice. Schools are closed and buses aren't running. The roads are pretty quiet.
Live you, Ryan!❤
Same down south near Branson, MO. Saw one car pass by my house very slowly in the last 5 hours...
We live you, too! Stay mawr!
Thanks legend. Ice is not good. Stay safe y'all.
Illinois is a skating rink at the moment
Nw Ohio here. Thanks Ryan for the frequent updates. I always look forward to catching up on videos as you post.
In my area the city crew and ODOT have treated the roads with metal dissolver juice and tons of salt, so I’m guessing that will help the ice situation on major roads. The side roads may be interesting though as the ice accumulates. Either way I’m staying home. 😅 -Eli
I’m in the St. Louis area, it has been very slick and saw that there will be a big jump in temps by the end of the week.
Being from Missouri, I’m not crying about the rain. With the drought we had last year, this rain will hopefully prepare our grounds for upcoming seasons. 🙏🏻🤞🏻
What takes 5 to 10 minutes to outlook weather with Ryan would take hours on T.V.
Locals spend way too much time harping on what happened in the past. I really couldn’t care any less what the high was 100 years ago. Tell me what’s going to happen today and the next few days. 🤷🏻♀️
I've seen this kind of pattern before....😪 Here in TN, in my area....when it gets too warm, trees start to bud a bit, ...then a artic blast comes in and boom, trees are crippled.
NWA (NW Arkansas) I hit roads at 330am 100% ice !!!!
Got love winter in the Ozarks
It was icy in Oklahoma this morning. Had to cancel my patients, but it has warmed up a bit and it’s just rain now.
And we all know Okies can't drive on that stuff 😂.
Weather!!!
The Atmosphere!
Hope your family is doing great, stay warm ❤❤❤
I hope the weather don't get too bad in Indiana...I walk to work most days. I live out where the buses don't run.
I would most DEFINITELY be looking to arrange some type of transportation this week by any means possible. Don’t want to be walking in this type of weather unless you’re seriously asking to get sick. All the best wishes to you from the 219!
Take care out there from 765
Nature;
How many people can say that they walk to work? Pretty unique!
Be safe and stay warm.
@@brushwolfLots of people in Europe walk to work! German - Swiss American here! I ditched my 18 year old car Feb8th,2023! I am fortunate to be able to walk everywhere! I have a friend who takes me to the grocery store 2 times /month! I give her my gas points! I also take her out for lunch before we go to the market! So it is a WIN- WIN for both of us! Retired Teacher ,37 years ! I listen to my NOAA Weather Radio every single morning! Helps me plan my day! Saving time and money now! No gas , no tires, no Oil changes, no Car Insurance , no need to dig my car out of snow, no State Car Registration fees, no car repairs ! And getting a lot of great exercise too! So no need for Gym membership! 🤗🤔🇩🇪🇨🇭🇺🇲🌊♀️Love my new GREEN Lifestyle!
@@daren7889 I'm from the states and it is not common. I am aware of many people walking to work in Europe. I have a friend from Germany who informed me she walked to work. The difference is the vastness of the US.
I once had the opportunity to go to Vermont where I rented a cabin one fall. The host told me of amenities but that most were too far, the closest being about thirty miles away in the town of Stowe, VT. I laughed and told her that we drive 60 miles round trip just to go get a bite to eat😂.
I live at the bottom of Texas and it takes about 13 hours to drive from the Rio Grande Valley to Texline in the panhandle, just to get out of the state.
Thank you’ Ryan.
Nooo, ice? The roads are covered in black ice. Its so bad. Never have i ever driven on a road completely covered in ice for miles. (I80 TO I55
Thank you Ryan for keeping us updated!🥰
South central Illinois here...we had a light glaze this morning but its melting now at 36° Thanks Ryan & team👍😉
What part? Northwest Fayette County here
Ryan, your the best. Any other weather predictions, there's no comparison.
This last storm we had, about 6-8 inches. If that's the biggest storm, we've been blessed!!
You're *
I'm in S Indiana and we are having a heat wave! Its going to get up to 36 degrees lol. Hopefully, those ice and freezing rain will stay up north of us. I'm over it, the snow is finally melting and I can stop my water from dripping.
We got 3 plus inches of rain around San Antonio last night
Thanks for keeping me Updated :D
South and central Texas needs rain to replenish the groudwater.
Wow Ryan, I was looking for your forecast yesterday for us here in Missouri about the ice for the morning commute to work 😢🥶
Thank you for this update, dangerous ice storm is going on right now in the southern plains and Midwest, and a major weather pattern is coming
Thank you so much Ryan 😊 please be safe everybody 🙏🧡💙🙏🤗🙏
Just gettin outta the torrential snowfall Michigan has gotten the last week or so! Easily got over a foot! Thank you for the update Ryan you are the most reliable weatherman I’ve seen! You’re awesome! ❤
The nice thing about the weather in NE OK is it looks like it’s going to stay above freezing after today. 🙏🙏‼️‼️‼️👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️. Thank you Jesus!!!
Thanks Ryan!!
Good job buddy 🇺🇲
Solid sheet of ice here in East Central Missouri 28⁰ F
If this is going to hit you, please stay home. I had to get out today in swmo. It was super slick. First car I saw was in a ditch. I saw a stuck semi, I slid. Be safe.
SW Mo here too. Couldn't get out the front door of our building this morning, and my neighbor has a better setup than I do! So nope, I'm staying home.
Mississippi resident here.
Southerners please keep a digital storage area, like a playlist on youtube, with details of snow driving tips. Theres always an uneducated one hitting a ditch somewhere
One year Ago, I Quit UA-cam Gaming videos just weren't as fun anymore. But then I found your UA-cam channel, you are making Non-stop weather reports whenever they happened, and nobody could stop you! I got inspired by you and decided to come back to UA-cam to make weather videos just like you!
Thanks for the update!!
Oh, holy crap. Ice storms are the worst! For once, I'm glad I'm too far north.
Thank you!! This is my weather channel.
Thanks Ryan!!! From Little Rock, Arkansas 🙏🏼
I am in Texarkana Arkansas we don't need no snow we had some last week
Thanks Ryan for taking time to make us weather aware and prepared and SAFE 👍🙏🏻 You're the BEST AND ONLY WEATHER CHANNEL I GO TO FOR MY WEATHER BECAUSE THE Y'ALL SQUAD TEAM IS THE BEST AND MOST ACCURATE ANYWHERE ON ANY PLATFORM 🙏🏻💞🤗💞 Congratulations again on y'all's newest addition and I pray that Mom and Baby and BIG Brother and you are all doing well 👍💞🤗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks Ryan, God bless u bro !
We got so much snow in East TN. It is beautiful. But now the melting snow is becoming icy overnight. I’m looking forward to the warmer temperatures and the rain will help. I’m grateful for the moisture because it had been a very long dry summer that extended into the fall. Hope everyone stays safe
I'm in sw Michigan and as of about 11am it's been a sleety mix and it's definitely getting slick. If this is supposed to freeze it's going to super frickin slippery out n about.
Thank you

Lines in the skies =weather by design.
Designer weather. Aren't we lucky...😏.
Thank you Ryan!!! You the MAN----and I hope you and your family are doing well. Love from your neighbor in Ohio!
Finally some El Niño type rain in Central Texas. Though, it needs to fall about 75 miles west to fill up the lakes.
Tennessee here. We've gone from days of frigid temps & snow to now flood watches. Guess it's our turn to take the hits. Thanks Ryan
Bless you Ryan and all of the crew! Thank you
Got to get the ground warm to help with the ice problems, it's the worst.
Shit is lovely here in South Florida 😊
It really is. 🌴☀️⛱️🐚
Thank you Ryan for the info. Y'all be safe & warm. God Bless.
Hope Texas gets LOTS more rain.
THANKS RYAN
I am a born and bred Iowan and I am tired of this weather. I enjoy snow but don’t appreciate getting the entire season amount over 2 weeks versus 4 months.
So much rain heading to Dallas. LETS GO!!!
Hope all is well with baby Otto! Take care...
My go-to for weather for us and for where friends and family are across the US !
Bring it. Rain will melt the 10-12 inches of snow we just got.
Springfield, IL areas have canceled mail delivery for today. STAY HOME!
Ryan Hall Y'all is the only weather I trust!
Let's go. I got sky lights dripping on my QC work
Hey Pappa Bear...thank you for the heads up!
Much Appreciated Ryan.....
MidTn has the snow from last two storms on ground, with the rain coming in tomorrow will be super saturated ground. I'd imagine that Flooding will def be seen.
Knoxville still has about four inches of snow and ice melting and it looks like rain for days is coming. The ground was already saturated so I guess we wished too hard after the late summer drought.
I can’t express my gratitude towards the team behind this channel. Major props all around!
I was driving on 40 east in Oklahoma. So many accidents happened there. Wish all drivers be safe out there
I'm a truck driver currently driving from OKC, OK to Columbus, OH.. Weather is really cloudy here in OK with medium rain. No snow, no ice as of now
We need rain in Texas desperately. Rivers, lakes and aquifers are drying up...
Absolutely the best weather channel I’ve ever watched. Nationwide coverage too. Great job you guys.
Minnesota 🥱 🥶
Thank you , I keep track of my USA 🇺🇸 family, I’m in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦
Flames or Oilers fan...? Lol
I have a daughter that lives in Alberta Canada
Flames 🔥
And I’m sure your daughter told you how cold it was here last week 😮
Bless you
Indy doesn't always get ice storms, but we get them often enough and they are usually in February. This is coming a little early when we usually get the false spring warming. This might catch a few people off their guard, but it should not. We are use to this and will get through it like the others. Thank you for the heads up.
Love your channel! But as a Mississippi resident I notice how often you forget to add us into your forcasts...New Orleans, Mobile or La and Al... we're still here!
The landmass between Lousiana and Alabama...lol
I hear ya..he never mentions NJ either! Always Pennsylvania or NY!
The best channel to share and alert my kids!
Thanks for great info
Thank you for the job you do. It is very much appreciated.
Thanks man.👍👍❤️
we have 26 degrees with rain in N. Indiana
Thank you Ryan God-bless you!!!!
Thanks Ryan and I want to say congratulations to you and your wife on that precious new arrival.
