Fun fact: Tifa is 20 in Final Fantasy VII Remake/Rebirth. The events in the demo take place 5 years beforehand. So during the demo, cowgirl Tifa is only 15 years old.

The reason why cloud appears to be different in the past is that due to the mako poisoning his memories are mixed with Zack’s. So he’s put himself in the role of Zack and all those moments with the random guard in the flashback are actually Cloud.

@@theboogie1460 Jared said he’s already played Crisis Core so he knows the actual events of Nibelheim compared to what’s in the flashback. So not a huge spoiler for him and it’s an over 25 year old game so it’s not a spoiler at this point.
It's odd that they brought back that aspect of the story considering Zack is (presumably) still alive in this timeline
Your enthusiam for this game made me want to go back and try the demo again. I guess my expectations for the graphics were higher so I didn't give the game a chance, but the game still look amazing.
I absolutely loved the demo I can't wait for the game I pre ordered the Deluxe Edition this game is breathtaking I can't wait to explore the open world

JARED: Please be wary of bringing up spoilers that you might have had confirmed already to yourself, to the rest of your audience. I had 1 spoiler confirmed from you in your video and got another from some dude in the comments. It made me pretty upset honestly because I was excited to see how you felt about the demo. I also never played the original so I'm experiencing it new as well. I'd like to watch your videos on this if you make content on it but I won't enjoy them if they have spoilers for stuff that hasn't happened yet (the comments I'll accept as my fault, despite people lacking self-awareness and thinking it's okay to spoil someone without their consent).
I saw this as I was preparing to play the demo myself, so I held out until I finished it. Normally I play something and then watch a content creator play it shortly after I've progressed further. Enjoyed it thoroughly and pretty excited for the 2nd part of it.
I think you'll just need to go into Internet hibernation for a while. There's plenty more game to come, so if you've had some stuff spoiled, there will be more.
Also, thankfully, with the devs tweaking the story here and there, it's likely that there may be big twists upcoming that no one has seen yet.
@lyndsaybrown8471 And I get that, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask him to refrain from repeating spoilers he's already had, as a courtesy to his audience. It's not as if it's specifically relevant to his content. Or at least put a warning during editing.
Also yeah, hopefully so. Pretty excited to see the rest of the game either way, especially with the reveals like Vincent.

Man I really Hope Kh4 will be as good as this. KH3 was good but not Great. An with Remake and Rebirth looking this good as well as gameplay an mini games, an switching between character’s, vast regions to explore, transportation like riding chocobos, the buggy car an the water plane. Just so much you can do in Rebirth.
I must say Nomura an Square have No reason for KH4 to be just *good* we should be able to play as other characters not just Sora, as well as other many things to do. I just hope Nomura takes notes from Rebirth to add to KH4, like set the bar very high.

The spells, the sights, the weapons, the summons like Alexander, Ramuh, Bahamut, Kujata, Titan, Diabolos, Odin, etc. So much to look forward to.
you got another part of the demo due to come out before the game! i can't wait to play this game myself, but also look forward to your play through of it on stream, cause every player is going to be making different decisions, so there'll be different conclusions to some story events. 22 days away man, that's wild! Im sure jared knows somewhat the story no? he said hes experienced CC so its not a wild assumption that hes aware of what going on. XD Now for people who do know. Its really cool to see how cloud fills in the gaps. Cuz you gotta asume alot of parts he only knows cuz Zack must have told him in one way or another on their way to midgar.
Well Cloud was with Zack the whole time in Nibelheim. That random guard who survives is supposed to be Cloud in the real events.
@@noahpauley Well yeah you're right, but Cloud wasn't with them throughout the entirety of it, for example all the moments where sephi was acting "odd" cloud wouldn't have been able to tell cuz he doesn't know sephiroth. When sephi is staring out the window cloud was outside visiting his mom. And also the mansion and reactor were off limits to him cuz confidentiality hence why we don't see genesis in the flash back at the reactor and i assume why the mansion is different? (but maybe that's an aesthetic choice lol)
They did a very good job with the flashback. Was grinning ear to ear the whole time!

Aerial Combat still sucks, he can shoot blade beams now, but it doesn't always trigger when the enemy is long ranged

For me, it feels like Rebirth is same graphical quality as Remake. The problem is, it's hard to tell cause I can only play in 1080p, cause I can't find the HDMI cord that came with my PS5. (I didn't know different HDMI cables allow higher quality)
Edit: Also, while the Piano minigame is extremely intricate and well done, it's a bit much and hard to keep track of. I'm not stranger to rhythm games, but I'm not fond of that one.
Even in 1080p Rebirth is still a step up for graphics.
