Another great tutorial! Im currently working on something similar, kind of on the "day at work" theme and I realized I almost did the same shot for coffee, taking the can and put it back in one take 😅. So I know consistent lighting is important but in the case of elevating the feel of time passing, doesn't it make sense for light to change in that specific scenario? It turned out super cool with static light but I think could have been cool with light motion as well to enhance the feeling of the sun actually moving with time. Super nerdy details 😂
Thanks man! Good points. My lighting was far from perfect, but I had to sacrifice the lighting over productivity, otherwise making the video would’ve taken much longer. 😅 The shots in the living room and kitchen were filmed when it was already dark outside. These are things that I believe I’ll get better little by little as I create more story driven videos! 🙂
day after day by watching your videos you are pushing me to a camera store to buy my first camera, you are talented bro keep doing this awesome work, hats of from Algeria
Nice work Jussi and helpful as always. I always enjoy behind the scenes footage, it clarifies the story and sequence more. For a newbie this is most beneficial 👌🙏
loved your video. I learned a lot. I'm also quite into storytelling so it was very educational. Thanks. Only thing I want to say....Well, I wish the editing is that fast in real life! 😆
This is what I've been looking for. Great content to learn and create our own style and develop within filmmaking. The amount of time and effort for creating these, really great job!
@@JussiAlexander You are welcome!!! Everything in our hands!!! We must create amazing things on this earth 🌍, to make our life better better and better!!!))) 🙏
As usual, a lot of hard work for a few valuable seconds. I see that you shoot 4k, probably so you can zoom in on editing, but you also put the 4k version of the video on youtube?
Thanks! I always export the final video in 4K and upload it on UA-cam in 4K. This way the quality will be better after UA-cam’s compression even if some shots were filmed in 1080P. 🤓
Another great video (new subscriber here). Also...I love finding music first too, as I find the music inspiring and play it while planning and shooting. Thanks for this great video!
Thank you very much! 😊 I filmed a timelapse of the clock. I used the timelapse function in my Sony A6500 and shot like 500-600 individual photos every 3 seconds (if I remember correctly) and then combined the photos into a video in Premiere Pro.
@@JussiAlexander Thank you so much, Alex. I’m actually trying out with my Iphone, and I’m aware that there’s a time lapse function on my phone. Can I achieve the same with Iphone+Premier Pro combo?
@@MrVijaiananth My pleasure buddy! Yeah, I you can get a good enough result with the iPhones timelapse feature, and that can look good. But with timelapses, you always get the best result when shooting individual photos with the right camera settings (you get the motion blur and better image quality.)
Nice! How do you do the moving zoom effects? Can that be done on iPhones, do you know? Update: I see the movement was done in post! Cool. What was that big thing you used to put the camera on above you?
Yeah, I did all the movement in post using keyframes. I’m not 100% sure, but one of those editing softwares for iPhones might be able to do similar keyframing.
do you happen to have a video about tripods? I am looking a new tripod that is small in footprint but extend tall without the legs taking up to much room. I shoot alot of video at the gym and I don't want to take up to much space. and I would need it to hold a A7iv
👍🏻 „Hot Fuzz“, „Shaun of the Dead“, „The World’s End“. These were my first experinces (As already mentioned: director = E. W.). Thx for all your hints and good success. 🍀

The work you have to do just for 10s shot is crazy omg but watching you be so determined every time motivates me,thanks 👍🏽
Thanks! Yeah, It took me soooo long to film this but it’s fun making these videos! 😅
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how many hours and passion he placed in this video
It's incredible and i consider they justify more than that
I was surprised how many of these shots were static and the movement was edited in!
Cool! Yeah, all the movements were edited in post. 🤓
