I think your "survival base" is something of a death trap, but hey, I reckon someone from Hollywood's gonna come knocking on your door wanting to make a 90 minute action suspense movie out of this. "Based on a true (LegoLand) story, comes a heroic battle for survival...."
These are all great fun to watch, and this one in particular would've been a great example to see fill up by flowing into the top of the structure. Since the water always intrudes where bricks-meet-glass, we lose out on seeing the effects of the natural porosity of the structure. Unsure about the best route to take: a bead of hot glue or clear silicone on the front-facing edge perhaps. This would be more time-consuming, but would make for a longer, truer view of the fail point of the build. Just a thought. Keep up the good work! :-)
