Be interesting to see how yours runs, as a lot of the reviewers are finding the car is very difficult to keep running in a straight line. With lots of crashes at no where near claimed speeds the car is capable of, for example Rlaalo claim the stock rubber tires are good for 200 + kph. This do seem to be rather high for rubber tires base on speed run experience with rubber tires on other brand cars. Hope it turns out to be a good car as I have the Metal roller ordered along with the Carbon roller also ordered, I will watch your progress with the AK917 with interest.
they over engineered their tires, read up on it. they don't balloon like cheap tires. Rlaarlo straight up made awesome tires. and the speed they claim also comes with them saying upgraded parts will be required. rlarrlo got this one right bud.
@@phantom246 I know all about the tires + you need upgaded electrics to acheive anywhere close to the speeds Rlaaro claim the car is possible to hit. The problem is experienced drivers are finding the car extreemly unstable even on stock electics which is well below the 200 kph that Rlaarlo claim the car is capable of. The car is showing bad handling problems at 100kph - 120kph, let alone what would happen at 200kph. I think just about every run I have seen on the AL917 so far has resulted in unstability & eventual crashes.
The tires on the carbon version are different to the Metal version car, the carbon version comes with belted tires. The metal car does not have the belted tires.

those wheels are different, what's up with that?
It's the metal version roller not same as CF which totally defferent wheels and drive system.
