I was here last 2006, can't believe it's already 15 years! Wow! Seems nothing really change as far as I remember.. The city hall was ageless! We stayed at arosa hotel and met some Filipino friends who lives here.. And had a 3 months work at wincor nixdorf.. I will never forget my stay here..

Ladies & Gentlemen. I am an Engländer & I live & work in Paderborn. I have seen Paderborn thrive in the late 1990's (I lived & worked here then too), & I see the downfall in this city today. Paderborn is a very beautiful & multicultural city with lots to offer. But we have a pandemic of our own, & it's not Covid-19. It is the influx & growth of the Taschendiebe (pick pockets), the Street robbers but worst of all the growing Drug dealers dealing on Westerntor & in the Zentralstation. I hate drugs. I hate drug dealers the worst - they are less worth than tramps & pigs. I witness them dealing to young 15/16yr old girls & openly passing around drugs. They are ruining this beautiful city.

Lived there in 1977. That summer they celebrated 1,200 years as a city! Great town, nice people.

Drug dealers and addicts don't seem to be the root of the problem as much as the symptom.
