E-assist info, history lesson, and the beautiful view of the desert. This video has everything! Once I am able to purchase a recumbent trike of my own, I will be set for life. I'm eyeing a few Catrike models but now I'm wondering if the Terratrike brand is the way to go after seeing you in action with the Charge. 3300 dollars is a high price point for a Terratrike and a bit surprising. I'm leaning towards a racer-type recumbent and Terratrike has the Spyder for that. Again, thanks for the video. I miss living in the desert so the landscape of your ride was truly breathtaking for me. I enjoyed your wise words about getting out and riding. By the way, as you were going along the highway - it sounded like the Charge was lifting off from a runway and readying to take flight. Might have to watch that again just to be sure, ha.
Funny you say that about my Terratrike taking flight. Because that’s the way the Charge makes me feel like I’m flying. Good luck with the Spyder, and enjoy the ride! Smitty
I know how you feel. I'm now riding a Trident Spike with the N380 planetary hub. This spring my town opened a new trail near me, so I road 3.7 miles per day until a week or so ago (with no assist, but no hills either). I sure miss it, but the rainy season has begun and we will have about ten inches per month until spring. Arizona dreamin'...
I really love the sun and heat of Southern New Mexico. Almost always sunny. ☀️. Wind will be my issue come spring. Oh well. 😀. Let me know how the Trident is working out for you. Thanks, Smitty.
