This possibly explains why you get more plunges than you think. For the mushrooms that Collei needs, there are 2 shops that sell 5 each every 3 days. One is in Gandharva Ville (Collei's and Tighnari's town) and another in the arana city, however that one requires a certain progression of said questline.
As a Ga Ming main who's mained him since I first got him from Lantern Rite (started playing the game this year just for him) watching this series has felt like I'm watching my early days playing genshin LOL GM's C1 actually restores some health to him but before that he essentially needs to be paired with a healer to function as a dps since he's super fragile and needs to keep his health up for his burst to be maximized. Not many people realize it but Barbara is essentially his best teammate early game since she can heal him while he's on field + procs wet on enemies so you can trigger reverse vape in close contact (also without her he'll die multiple times to random burning grass lol). I actually scraped through my ascensions tests using GM Kaeya Barbara and Xing Qiu by freezing, vaping and melting 💀 I still use Barbara to this day (ar57) and my only advice is that when using the GM Barbara pair you should take out cryo enemies on sight otherwise they'll freeze you to death

The beginning of genshin is so fun. I started a second account a few months ago, hoing to use Lynette a lot, but when I got sucrose I just stopped using her. That's the problem with early game, we get so many characters and so much world exp it's impossible to keep playing all the 4 stars
!!!Java the reason your plunging attacks stop is because when Gaming's HP falls below a certain amount the cooldown stops refreshing (Should be listed in his burst somewhere) As a result he prefers having a healer so he can use his burst for longer. Also at c0 he doesn't self-heal as much which is why it happens so fast, I hope this helps!!!
The reason you only get 2 plunges from Gaming burst is his hp. The lion will not spawn again if Gamings hp is below (i think) 50%. So having another healer is really needed for him
so, about the co-op event: i think the livestream idea is really solid, but not the only way to do it. when you join coop worlds for help or farming, i think its ok to ask the other person to only use 4 stars, but in a 4-player matchmade event, you have basically no say in what characters the other 3 want to use because few people would listen, so thats not in your control and should be ignored in favor to getting the rewards that said, i have absolutely no idea on what the event is, if its combat based or even if its matchmade lol
It's a combat event where you get paired with 3 other random people through co op (windtrace style) and you select your own chara and just go through 4 stages with buffs. Score points to get rewards Imo it's fun simply because you and your random teammates can get galaxy brained without communication (I once picked Barbara while my teammates went for Nahida Raiden and Xilonen so we ended up with hyperbloom), OR you end up with complete nonsense so you just random bullshit go your way through (once ended up with a Navia Chiori Jean team and I played as gmc lmao there was 0 reaction and synergy going on and it was stupid and funny and very fun)
11:36 You can actually just do the elemental reactions tutorial domain in Mondstadt (the Lisa domain) and it gives you some the dust used to convert the crystals so you can just do that trial which is rlly easy since its free trial characters (they’re all 4 stars so don’t worry) and convert the crystals in the future!!

Honestly I'd reccommend investing in Collei's burst. It can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time and can be a good offense against the mages' shields!

Regarding Gaming’s skill not coming back, His c1 is a game changer. Gaming’s c1 allows man chai to heal him up a bit when he comes back, so you can get more plunges in. That being said, you’d probably have to wait for a rerun. But the best thing you can do right now is run him with a healer, and he is decently good in burgeon teams so you can use collei and barbara together with gaming. Team choice is all up to you tho. Then again, you said you wanted an anemo unit so you can always use Kaeya or Collei on another team

Without his other ability Air of Prosperity, Gaming can't heal himself very well when he hits 50% hp, but he does heal a little as long as he's doing damage to an enemy. So sometimes his healing will bump you up to just above 50% at beastie's respawn time so you'll get an extra hit in 👍
Just one issue might happen if you played enough long with this account which is too much unused Primogems since there are so limited pull at every banner. So here's a suggestion: Every time there's a banner with all 4 star you have, you can pull as much as you want until you get a five star.

edit: also for gaming his c1 or c2 helps keep him above 50% hp cuz man chai will heal him each time so you can do constant plunge during his burst (yes i main him to)
btw gaming skill is consider as plunch damage instead of skill damage
Gaming’s plunging atks end when the duration is up or when his hp gets too low. I’m not sure the hp threshold though but it’s because you don’t have enough healing for Gaming

It doesn't really matter, but Gaming's skill is considered plunge damage.
