- If the business is just me, do I need an Employer Identification Number? Is an FEIN, EIN, Federal Tax ID the same thing? I obtained an EIN with my sole proprietorship, can I use it for my new LLC? Where can I get an EIN and how long does it take?
We're going to demystify the EIN in this episode, but if you'd like to get an EIN from BetterLegal, we can help with that too at betterlegal.com
Very helpful breakdown explaining the basics and dumming it down for a novice like me! Pictorial representation super helpful as well!

So I can not use the same sole proprietor name and upgrade to an llc with the same ein?

If i get an EIN "with" liability insurance, is that considered a less expensive way of not being personally liable? Will that be a way save cost instead of paying for and maintaining an LLC?
What if I have a holding company with multiple businesses (subsidiaries)
