I really don't know how Chiori fits in Navia teams. Chiori's skill needs geo constructs, which Navia doesn't do, and if you put in a third Geo character, that nerfs Navia's buff (that requires having two NON-geo characters).

the reason for enemies either resisting all elements or just geo and physical is cause of how they balanced them. Geo and physical are basically solitary islands that if the resists were gone they would be the most broken cause of their insane multipliers.

They definitely did it on purpose they didn't want you to be able to on-field her before like c6 using Bennet to boost her normal MVs and otherwise use her at c1 with Navia except to just build crystallize shards... yea 😢
tbh maybe tsaritsa could be the crit buffer cuz cryo resonance's whole thing is crit rate and stuff... and every archon is a support/sub dps so it might be possible
A support character who provides both Crit Rate and Crit damage would probably be too OP. I could see them introducing an extremely late-game 5 star character (Harbinger, Archon, Hezenzirkel member, Elemental Dragon, Skirk, Dansleif, or Celestial being) that establishes some similar mechanic through their bursts, skills and passives (and may provide even more through their constellations). There’s so much potential for awesome new characters and kits, it’s absurd 🙃
honestly im surprised that more supports who can buff crit rate/crit damage (at least without cons) dont exist. or heck more debuffers, a dedicated def-reducing support in genshin would be broken.

Depends on how specific they make the conditions. C6 Faruzan gives 40% crit damage, shreds anemo res, and buffs anemo damage. Her all-encompassing buffs are insane, but there's only a couple of characters that can properly utilize her. An all-in-one crit package support would be pretty reasonable if it only worked for, say, geo damage.

I feel for Chiori too, I also adore dual weapons, plus her Va's are good and I love her personality. I was saving that $100 primos purchase for a certain C2 Futina or Natlan but she had got me, and her weapon too. I feel in love with her she like idk I'm still a Hu Tao main but I can put her in my favorite teams now. Making me wanna use Geo more.
I would pull for Chiori but I'm kind of low on rolls and I want Arlecchino more sooo... Next time. They did nerf the Childe boss fight very early after his release and the quickest boss to kill imo is Dvalin with Ganyu. Don't have Lyney but I would assume he's fast too.
Kage 4 piece husk is prob worst build for dps Chi better to go 2piece sets and she scales of BOTH def and Atk not just def so recommend building acordingly and navia doesnt scale off anything
