Drill 1/8” holes on the perimeter of your pod so the resin can bleed thru and sandwich the poly from both sides.
You could buy polypropylene in stick or what ever small form and granulate them, and then mix them with acetone. Acetone dilute polyproylene. Now you have polypropylene goo, you can sculpt and "weld" it onto ready PP parts.
