I think it is very clear what the problem is. It is governments condoning crimes against humanity. It doesn't go down well with many in the population and thus it creates tension within the country. What should be done in my opinion is report those politicians to the international court in the Hague. Because they are breaking international law.
@@hanakovler512 Firstly, this is not a war, so it is up for discussion whether the crimes being committed are actually 'war crimes'. Hence my use of the term 'crimes against humanity'. What Hamas did was a terrorist attack, they are not a country and they do, as such, not have an official army and therefore it can't be labelled a war crime. Secondly, if you do not know what constitutes a 'war crime' or a 'crime against humanity', look it up. I will give you some examples, cutting off a population from either food, water, or energy falls into one of the two categories as does forcing a population to abandon their homes. So, no, I do not mean Hamas, they should be prosecuted for carrying out a gruesome terrorist attack. It is Israel that is committing either war crimes or crimes against humanity. Our politicians address these kinds of crimes when they suspect Myanmar or Russia or China from committing them, so they DO recognise those crimes but when an ally is suspected of committing the same crimes they voice their unconditional support for those same actions. This is, apart from being hypocritical, against international law and they should get the opportunity to explain their compliance in front of a court of law. These laws don't just apply to ones enemies.

I don't know why people keep acting like this is something new... Not always expressed with thuggery and violence, but absolutely hatred and derision that the drunken hooligans yesterday displayed. This country hasn't come to anything. There's always been politicians like Suella Braverman with everything to gain from stirring up as much hatred as possible. Arguably the entire tory party has been doing it since 2010, against pretty much every distinct group in the country at one point.
@@ecaeas4439 Absolutely. There's plenty of videos comparing the rhetoric they use against immigrants today to that which they used against those on benefits back in the austerity years of Cameron/Clegg. (Yeah, the Lib Dems were in on it too for those who think they'd be an alternative). And I'm not letting Labour off the hook either. In fact, Labour championed the anti-immigrant stances of today when they cow-towed to right wing Murdoch media cries in the mid-oughts. On the one hand I find it wonderful that so many people are now realising and acknowledging the scummy way in which our so-called Democracy works from the politicians to the media. On the other, they still have a long way to go considering how much cope is out there from people who think is all some phenomena that materialised with the election of Trump/Johnson, with no critical thinking whatsoever on WHY those imbeciles got elected or on the people who surrounded them who've been haunting the political landscapes for decades prior.
Unfortunately there's no democracy left in this country 😢. A government was imposed on us instead of letting people choose. This is what happens when politicians get a free ride.
So the narrative is all about thugs and police and our government, but not about the 5000 dead children, the grieving, injured traumatised, just about us . Our leaders on both sides are despicable. Barb
What sides? I mean this especially about the latest conflict, where it seems that it's those poor people in Palestine against the world, or our leaders I should say. They literally have no excuse to stop bombing the life out of Gaza, other than "Israel has the right to defend itself" Imagine how it's gonna read in the near future..... There was that many dead and dying that they had to have a pause while HUMANITARIAN AID was allowed in, then they went straight back to bombing the life out if the sick, wounded, dying, children and even newly born. Some people are natural warmongers and don't need much encouragement to fight and or slaughter, (the latter needing the least) or at least cheer such action on. But some of the people who have supported what the Israeli government has been doing.
I’m just flabbergasted Richie and Braverman are the ones doing this. First PM of Indian descent and he is condoning race hate. I could not be more shocked 😳
And the so called “peaceful People” throw lit fireworks at the police and threaten Jews in Synagogue so much so the police have to protect them from The Peace.
All the very concerned people who were convinced that a peaceful march in favour of armistice, taking place hours later and miles away, was somehow disrespectful are very quiet all of a sudden. Same with all the newspapers lying about poppy sellers, claiming without evidence that there was violence and sellers needing to wear body cameras, or just "where have all the poppies gone?". Now we should all know those were all lies, no one was punched, no one needed to wear a camera and in fact the number of people selling poppies was up this year. Instead it's all "look at how terrible both sets of protesters are" or trying to imply the police presence at the Cenotaph was aimed at protestors vs counter protesters.
100 Pro Palestinian protesters were detained as they attempted to break away from the main protest . Plus arrests of those right wing extremists football hooligans. And some police being hospitalised, but hey it was "peaceful"
Sunak is a spineless politician. He puts on a friendly face and a forced smile everywhere he goes. His policies are callous like all tory policies but he himself isn't much of a ruthless politician - he'd rather pretend he doesn't have to exercise leadership and impose discipline when people like braverman go over the lines of what's acceptable for a government minister to say.

The peaceful marchers had to face the unfortunate attempts made by a group of thugs to disrupt the harmony. Sunella's rhetoric is starting to reveal her conflict of interest, which is a matter of huge concern. Her and her accomplices deliberately instigated racism to thwart the peaceful marches.
@@GaryThomas-gx2jm How can we take a day off when evil doesn't take a day off! The value of life cannot be overstated, and this is a principle for which the war dead fought and made the ultimate sacrifice. Their service and sacrifice were motivated by a desire to defend and preserve the sanctity of life. Similarly, the protestors who marched in our city, London, advocated for the same principle - that every human life is sacred and deserves protection. Their cause was grounded in a shared belief in every individual's inherent worth and dignity, regardless of race, religion, or any other factor. Ultimately, both the war dead and the protestors were striving to uphold the fundamental value of human life, and their efforts serve as a reminder of the importance of this principle.
What happened yesterday with the violence by the unruly 'England till I die' mob, is conceptually no different to the Trump MAGA mob marching on the Capitol, albeit on a smaller scale and politically different event.

Thanks Georgie. Also, just want to put out there that when they chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” the intent is in no way meant to be antisemitic. Contrary to what is being described in the media, it is purely calling for the freedom of the Palestinians. The meaning has been manipulated to taint the legitimacy of protests over the years. @@craigewen7542 Jihad has more than 1 meaning -fighting injustice and oppression,..
I think it is very clear what the problem is. It is governments condoning crimes against humanity. It doesn't go down well with many in the population and thus it creates tension within the country. What should be done in my opinion is report those politicians to the international court in the Hague. Because they are breaking international law.
I assume you mean Hamas war crimes
@@hanakovler512There's two sides in that conflict, both are monsters. But we're only arming one of them.
@@django3422 We are also arming Hamas. Where do you think they get their weapons from? They don't make them
@@JonathanRobson-b6j Iran, North Korea, Russia snd China does. Sure I suppose a few western weapons get through but no surprise there with the corrupt western arms dealers.
