I just picked one up for $17.50 at bi-mart in Oregon. This sucker locks in like a chastity belt! Love it, great for rough bulk cuts whittling when fishing. Sharp as a tack too, super good tool for a job that needs a tough as nails knife that can be replaced in 5 years without breaking the bank
When you put them on sale in May I bought three of the Copper ones for my grandsons for Christmas They are like bigger Barlows and the only thing I fault with them is the back spring is a little weak Otherwise fit and finish is perfect
Just got mine today, eBay purchase, brand new. Typical Kershaw quality. Sharp, smooth action perfectly centered blade. Fine finishing on the well shaped micarta scales. The only thing I’d ask is for the same pattern about 3/4” shorter closed. It’s a tad on the large size for my pockets. Otherwise, I like it and it’ll get carried. I like that they’re doing slip joints again, they’re easier to deal with. I have several Kershaw Flippers. My CRKT 7095 CEO…another favorite.
I have one of these and it's a rather fine knife for the $26 I paid for it. The knife opens and closes with enough strength that I sometimes forget that it's a slipjoint rather than a locking knife and the knife also has a timelessly handsome look that is that would be at right at home today or in my great-grandparents days. My only complaints with the knife is that the bolsters at the top of the handle seem to be a bit prone to rusting and that the knife is made with 7Cr17MoV, so you'll have to resharpen it more often. In all I'd still say that it's a good knife for the price and is an excellent option for those who may want to use something more traditional or may be unable to legally carry a locking knife.
The blade shape is the best and the jimping on the knifebis great and the g10 is awesome also by far my favorite barlow besides the boker barlows. Barlow is my favorite slipjoint knife.
This is a really good knife. I couldn't care less about "walk and talk." Waste of time, if you ask me. The blade is sharp and holds an edge. I've been using it for breaking down cardboard, and it slices through everything. I might like a bit more texture and maybe another quarter inch height on the handle. Otherwise, very impressive. At $26, it's a very good deal. I like that we're seeing some slipjoints return to the market. By the way, you packed a lot of info into a two-minute video. Nice work.
I like the design and the feel in my hand. Not too impressed with the steel choice, and wholly disappointed with the lack of "walk and talk" in a traditional slip joint.

Great pickup and thanks for sharing
I love that these companies are making more traditional slip joints with a modern spin! I say keep on keeping on👍🏻

That is awesome! We love when we get/or give knives as gifts! Thanks for sharing
Love traditional patterns !
Traditional knives & knife designs [like slip joints] are making a HUGE comeback on the cutlery scene !
Yes it's awesome especially for my dad because he loves the old-timers and designs like this@@cottonmouth71

Love the new modern traditionals, would love to see the Culpepper in a smaller 3-1/4" closed version

Was thinking same thing about Barlow design. Got one ordered should be here tomorrow.
Good morning .
Nice looking knife . Thanks for the video
I dont know why but that lanyard hole has me sold on the Culpepper unlike the other 2 that dont have one. I plan on making this a purchase soon!!
10$ more expensive then a gas station knife and 1000 times better .
Thanks for watching
Nice looking knife, wish the handle scales were a different color and it wasn't out of stock.
Wow nice looking Design knife!!! :D

I like it, but i suspect more versions will come out.
Slip joint pocket knives are coming back in a BIG way !

Really digging this knife
I like the Barlow pattern and when I saw this I wanted it. Then I saw that it is out of stock :( Will have to wait now.
1sakguy I just ordered one from Southern Edge Knife Works in Myrtle Beach S.C. As of last night they still had one in stock.
@@williamboyce7239 I'll check that out Thanks.
I love companies are making traditional slipjoints, but Oh kershaw, nice but no. Not at 28 and 7cr17. Just assume get another RR apta
thanks for watching
$16.99 and out of stock already?
They flopped on the steel, and thus the pricing. I'm seeing a $15-20 knife running $30 most places. Conflicted.
Sold out as soon as the sale hit.
I like the design and the feel in my hand. Not too impressed with the steel choice, and wholly disappointed with the lack of "walk and talk" in a traditional slip joint.
Love it
Nice 👍🏻
OUT OF STOCK!
Gorgeous Knife , but 7CR13MOV Really , I thought 8CR was Bad ...🤮👎
7Cr13MOV steel makes this knife unacceptable.
China, I'll pass :(
