Tablet compression process is completed in four stages and the name of compression stages given as
Filling
Weight Adjustment
Compression
Ejection
It is also known as the tablet compression cycle.The first stage of the tablet compression process is filling in which powders or granules are filled in the die cavity and second stage of compression is metering or weight adjustment where weight of the tablet is adjusted as per batch manufacturing record
The third stage of the tablet compression is compaction or compression where pressure is applied and last stage of tablet compression is ejection.
