PLEASE do more stuff at this price point! I'm trying to get into this style but I'm a poor student and have been burned a few times by dropshippers because I can't afford high-end stuff
I've been wondering for ages where those drop shipping brands were getting their pictures from. Finally I know what the fashion style is called so i can find more trustworthy brands.
That's for this video. I've been wanting to get into Techware for such a long long time but have always been afraid to buy stuff because as we all know; lots of these sites seem shady lol. I recently found the subreddit for techware and some kind people recommended your channel. Thanks for this video, it's been a bit overwhelming learning all these terms and navigating sites and all the stuff things do. Your videos have really been helping navigate this world of techware
Ah yeah I saw those, thanks for the suggestion! I definitely like the noragi best out of all the pieces. The elecorfree fabric they're using sounds interesting
Would be great to have a new noragi review on this channel. I recall they’ve featured once or twice in the past but that must’ve been a couple of years ago
Awesome video Ant!! I've been looking forward to your review of enshadower products for a while! I bought a similar pair of cargo pants from catsstac a month ago and I've been wearing them pretty frequently since then, i 100% agree with you about the issue with them riding up when you lift your legs - its one of my main complaints with these pants. I ended up getting a larger size on them (the difficulty of being a woman trying to get techwear cargos lol) and even with the extra fabric they still ride up every time I walk up the stairs lol. Although I initially found the fabric to be kinda stuffy, after wearing them for a while i've realised theyre actually surprisingly breathable. Like i wouldnt recommend wearing them in summer or when its hot out, but they dont actually make you feel sweaty the way the h&m bin bag cargos did, theyre just on the warmer side i guess. Thanks again for the awesome vid!
I can only agree, quality wise. There is only one thing to add. I'm 1,86m (6"1' for sub humans) and I basically always have to order the biggest size available and it's still somewhat on the short side. Personally I'm ordering nearly everything from uptempo store at AliExpress. He's quite communicative (I always ask for measurements) and yet still has the cheap dropshipping costs.
@@RevenantXD From my military experience I can tell you that magazine pouches are pretty much useless for civilians. Too narrow to get your hand in and to deep to reach the bottom with your fingers only. So you're always fiddling around getting things out.
@@RevenantXD don’t. 100% don’t. i have them and others, and what i can tell you is that the only reindee lusion pants that are wearable are the ones from s/s. f/w pants use polyester that lets 0 air through. it’s a glorified trash bag. if you really like the silhouette, try uniden’s 2.0 version because the material on that one isn’t loud as hell and lets sweat through. i’m glad they opened up shop in the uk and canada now, because it means i can buy from them lol
@@Tetraden-a the 042 doesn’t have true mag pouches, while they do look like them they’re much wider and i can fit my entire hand in with ease (if i try maybe even both lol
Not into techwear as a whole, but i like rocking some pieces to level up my casual style like pairing a white T with a "tactical" black cargo etc. Thanks for the review on the brand, imma check them out.
Great video, showcasing these more affordable brands is great for people who want to get into techwear and want to avoid dropshippers but can't afford to drop the price of a new car on an Acronym jacket.
A really odd brand you can check would be Eddie Bauer, it’s basically a dad hiker brand but the pants are really cheap (I got a pair of pants for like 30cad and they’ve lasted for more than a few years) and the quality is pretty good in my opinion. However, sizing is hard so if you learn how to crop your own pants it’s pretty amazing.
I think mixing Crye Combat pants with removable knee pads and a good techwear jacket would look really good, I have so many pockets in those pants for water bottles/ magazines/ IFAKs, and for the UK boys Try UF PRO gear mixing actual military grade clothing with techwear is something that shouldn’t be overlooked
Do you work in IT? Now I’m not sure what all the various straps would be good for - except maybe hanging tools from them - but Knee padding wouldn’t be cringe if you’re working in tech, a lot of IT work is assembly/disassembly and that could be a decent amount of time on the floor
Love the Uncle Antwon, children’s party entertainer, vibes at 2:21 😉 Those Ashfire GORPcore pants look ok but I’d miss the back pockets. I’m also surprised more tech brands don’t feature Molle webbing from both an aesthetic and practical stance
Have you seen the Canadian start up sustainable/ethical brand Seed? Not necessarily techwear in terms of being waterproof and made of artificial materials, but still focuses heavily on streamlined ergonomics (and arguably because it doesn’t use artificial materials this makes it much more functional). They use hemp/cotton blends as they’re naturally antimicrobial and durable, and so far from wearing my pair are the most comfortable trousers I’ve ever had. Almost like yoga pants but a hiking version
Amazing!! I have been desperate to find the actual brands for a lot of the cheap stuff floating around. Since I picked something up for bargain bin pricing and wearing it for more than a few minutes had me sweating, cause the fabric was just unberable.
i really like the look of the ashfire stuff. the jacket w/vest i was sooo tempted by after your last video on enshadower. luckily i have some self control. i used to have the enshadower asymetrical zip cobra jacket. it was really good and waterproof. it wasn't very breathable but did have venting built in. imo it didnt work for me but it was a quality jacket for the money. and when i traded it in to a used clothing retailer they actually gave me quite a bit for it!
This helps a lot. I was trying to find some good quality techwear to gift my boyfriend so I was kind of lost where to look to find good quality brands.
like your videos! may u suggest adding eq, DE essing, and some compression to your vocals! I think it would raise your production value and there are a ton of free options. also sound proofing your recording room could be very beneficial too
How do you determine your size on these sites. I found a sick T i'd love to get on enshadower but sizing confuses me, usually im an L, would XL be enough of an up? Do they have a chart I can use, out of ur experience i'd love to hear ur thoughts on sizing.
Should I even bother with pants from that site when Im 195 cm tall, or there's just no way? I really love the designs but Im afraid that all of these will be too short for me lol
Same, I’m outdoors a lot and was just thinking about how awful those would be to wear, sweaty and overall super thin material. I’ll stick to a good old pair of Levi’s
@@ems7500 I don't think I could bring myself to use any sort of synthetic material for clothing on the trail, honestly. I might let it slide in my gear, like a pack, bag, or even a hat, but I'm not going to wear plastic on my legs and chest no matter how "breathable" or "cooling" it claims to be. I do like the design of the pants shown here, but they are only what I'd consider "hiker-core". A non hiker's idea of hiker style.

It would be great to buy some of these pants they look comfortable for someone with huge quads and glutes… unfortunately I’m 6ft 260 w/ a 38inch waist. Can’t seem to find much that would actually fit me, most of these seem designed for smaller frame people
