Those who hate Elena obviously don't take the time to consider or remember all the tragedy her character suffered, her character suffered more than anyone else on the show accept maybe for Katherine but Elena is her doppelganger which meant Elena was destined to have to live through the same tragedies Katherine did, Katherine let her past harden her though and Elena tried to stay strong through all of hers and chose to love and be courageous unlike Katherine who chose to put herself above everyone else which made Katherine what she was and Elena who she was! Both stories are tragic but I have more respect for Elena and love for Elena than Katherine
Me too btw. I mean everyone says Kathrine pierce is brave and should be admired. But I will always have more respect for Elena, because after everything she went through she still dared to have feelings for everyone unlike Kathrine who didn't feel anything for anyone which was strong enough to make her stop from putting the people she 'Cares for' above her life. Kathrine called Elena a coward for turning off her humanity yet there she is hurting the man she claims to love hurting people who he cares for, that is not something someone with humanity will do, Katherine was the one who was a coward because she was so scared of death that she stopped caring about anyone except for herself, Even Klaus has more humanity than her because even with all the dead bodies trailing behind him from his past, he will be able to say that he did it to protect his famil, he died for his daughter.
Well, Katherine had more Tragedies and had a harder live than elena could ever expect and she have a completely different character But everyone have they own opinion
