Thanks! I’ve been fortunate to have higher paying jobs where more of my pay was being deducted towards paying off my HECS. However last year, I refinanced my investment properties and had some equity which I used to pay off my student loan :) I also mention this in the video! 😊

If you cash out equity on an investment property to pay out your HECS, the interest on that new loan won't be tax deductible.
