    Mikasa's ending has been so heavy on my mind and i know its a fictional story but i just feel so bad for her.
    She just wanted to spend the rest of her life with Eren and love him, and she spent the rest of her life yearning for that type of love😭

      If you squint you'll see she eventually had a baby with Jean and they came back together to visit eren and introduce him to their daughter. I think it's beautiful to imagine her and Jean living a wonderful life, but Jean understood in the end that she would want to be buried next to eren. An old man version of Armen also showed visiting both of their graves, looks like he outlived them in the end.

      Out of the ruins and ashes of the old civilisation grows a new one.
      Look at the ruins of the Maya, Egyptian and Roman. Their civilisations fell into ruins and around these ruins have grown new civilisations. We have to work on ourselves with the goal of becoming better, stronger, more disciplined, calculated and logical with a clear goal for our nations and humanity as a whole in mind. Humanity is predestined for something bigger than protecting every last piece of grass for ecological purposes on earth.
      We have to build the foundation for our children, for that they one day, may visit the stars, expand and research the unknown.

    I like this ending better than the manga. In the manga it only showed a modern city, implying that only a few hundred years passed and the Titan history wasn’t forgotten. So Eren and everyone fought and died for nothing because humanity couldn’t forgive Paradis. But showing a cyberpunk city is better because it means thousands or even millions of years passed and Titans have either been forgotten or become myths. So the conflict that ensued wasn’t because of Titans, it was new reason humanity made to fight each other. The manga’s epilogue told humanity doesn’t forget and we’ll be constantly fighting the same battle for the same stupid reason, and everything our characters did meant nothing. The anime’s epilogue was a bit more uplifting as it told humanity can forgive and forget and our characters sacrifices meant something but it doesn’t mean conflict itself will end as we’ll find a new reason to fight each other eventually.

    I have problems with the ending itself but this scene was great.
    The alliance are allowed entry into Paradis and reunite with Mikasa, meaning they achieved peace talks. Armin gets with Annie, Mikasa gets with Jean and both have kids and live on an expanding Paradis. This means Eren achieved his main goal. His friends become heroes who are leading the world into a new era of peace.

    • @pablomolina3041
      @pablomolina3041 4 дні тому

      The ending just is telling us the truth about humanity, we will never stop the hatred, we are not perfect, no matter how much we learn from the past we continue making the same mistakes, what Eren, Armin, Mikasa and their friends did was make era of peace, but anything in our history doesnt last forever and in the end a new war era begins and this time was not a Eren, Armin, Mikaso or someone like thier friends to stop it, look at us we had 2 world wars and we are now thinking in a 3 world war, even when we know that war will all kill us, we dont learn, we continue making weapons, we continue the cycle of hatred.
      Shingeky no Kyojin is brave to tell us that there is no a happy ending forever, we maybe stop one cataclysm, but there is no certain that future generations will do the same, next time will be the end, the bad ending.
      And after that bad ending, the cycle of hatred continues, but this time a new era, new ppl, new reasons to kill each other again.

    I would like to imagine that the wanderer in the last scene was us, the whole aot series are just a flashback of eren’s memories and we saw it because we got the founding titan’s power by the tree. We could see that because in the early episodes, we see a adult eren figure in the background, it’s hard to notice but it’s there. And not to mention the first episode of aot was “to you, 2000 years later…”

    I don't know what it is about this ending, it just has stuck with me. It makes me feel so small, watching this story I followed for years fade away and die. The characters lives I was so invested in be put in perspective as a mere blip in the world they inhabited and left to wonder if they really made their world any better at the end of it all. It's not hopeless, or really even sad/tragic. Just this profound melancholy I don't feel very often.

    • @sx4mania35
      @sx4mania35 4 місяці тому +2

      @@ThebarestGuy I figure that the powers that the source of the living organism gives depends on the wish of the receiver. In Ymir's case, it became her having powers to transform into a giant-like being (hence Titans) as a response to her wish to be useful to the Eldian King, which would then inherited down to her descendants (in other words, we can safely say that her Titan power is the answer to her time spent in slavery).
      Who knows if the being was found and then adapted into a person who actually has free will and critical thinking. It can be a different form other than Titan power.

    Sometimes your worst enemys lies within yourself
    Conflict may finally be resolved but a new conflict can rise
    Following your dreams maybe good but think about the consequences while your trying to achieve it
    Sometimes we blame the person we hate the most, but in the end we are also to blame because we are a part of why it may have happened

How does he know about that tree to gradually just walk in where eren's body is buried? I'd say the story of Eren was told by generations and generations and he knows of it thats why he's there.
