Operating Systems (OS)
An operating system (OS) is the software that manages a computer's functions, such as memory, drives, printers, and other devices.
Computer Operating System
▌It runs a computer's software and hardware and allows a user to communicate with the computer easily.
1. Most computers come pre-loaded with an operating system.
2. Microsoft Windows is on most computers worldwide.
3. Apple computers run on macOS.
Mobile Operating System: Mobile devices have mobile operating systems.
▌The most popular mobile OS are Android, and Apple iOS, which is used on the iPhone and iPad.
▌Apple iOS is closed; it can't be seen or changed by the public.
▌Both Android and iOS perform the same basic functions, such as messaging, web access, video chat and touch function.
