- ...But I thought the walrus was Paul. Why is John saying he is the walrus?...This is not a serious description, the real observation is that this is a weird chart that has all the strings but none of the main organ riff. At least it's better than the Come Together chart!

I first heard this in 1970, three years after its release. I was ten years old. When the radio deejay said "and that's the Beatles" I thought I must have heard him wrong. My only dim memories of the Beatles before that had been those early hits like "I Want To Hold Your Hand". Because of this song I became a huge Beatles fan from that day on, buying all their catalogue that I could afford to and asking for more for birthdays and Christmas. I wish kids today could have the chance to bump into geniuses like I did. Fifty years later I'm still hooked.
Before I played this game, I didn't know anything about The Beatles, so when the game also shows them transitions into a studio band with all of these amazing dreamscapes, I've finally get why this group is so beloved.

I remember playing this song when I was a kid and the visuals scared the crap out of me (to the legit point where those costumes gave me nightmares), I avoided listening to it for so long but I eventually warmed up to it as I got older. This song is a psychedelic rock masterpiece, man, it’s so cool

When I was 9, after a healthy education of Rock Band 2 and 3, my little sibling and I played this game and saw the visuals for this song, and I think it expanded my mind or something. The split-screen mirror effect, the way it bridges off into the 'english garden' part, and the way it builds and builds and then just stops...chills! Amazing game!

Apparently the two tone 'riff' in this song came from John. He was sitting in a hotel in America and heard the police sirens outside. As for the elementary penguins (all black and white) singing Hare Krishna (they dressed in all colours predominantly orange). God I miss you John Lennon. But I was too young to understand the Beatles then. I got into music via David Bowie. God I miss you as well Davie! Peace and Love...Weird Bill from Scotlanf.
