I’m going to get my ear pierce without my parents knowing and I want yo kinda manage all the situation by myself, I’m really scared but your videos had help me not to!
recently switched all of my lobe piercings to labrets and barbells. went from decently comfortable to totally unnoticeable to sleep on and have honestly changed my life in terms of comfort and minimal effort jewelry
yes yes yes! i got my ears pierced yesterday, 2 in each ear, i couldn’t fall asleep at all until i realized i have an airplane pillow!! it helps me so much!! it’s pretty difficult to change sides because you have to wake up and move it, but it still works!!!
I got mine like almost two weeks ago and only two days ago I realized how hard it was to find the right sleeping position, this kinda helps so thank you :) I took them out an hour ago but I was way to scared that my piercing would be all closed up in the morning and I didn’t want to risk that
On my fourth day atm, I feel you 😂. It's been soooo hard to sleep, I miss sleeping sideways on both sides. When I'm sleeping I think I'm now actually conscious, because I'm afraid to sleep on them because they are still fresh and healing. It's INSANE.
i recently got my second ear piercings and i was so scared to sleep since i move a lot and sleep on my side. i found using a neck pillow above my normal pillow to help with my moving!
Yesterday I got my ears pierced, and when I've put my head on the pillow, I have not felt them, no pain, no discomfort. Is this normal? By the way, it was done with a piercing gun...
Your ear piercing area heals pretty quickly. It's normal and good, but clean your pillow and ear piercing area to prevent germs + bacteria which can cause an infection.
It’s been two week since I got new piercings, it’s really not my first ear piercings but for some reasons they hurt a lot especially when I sleep and sometimes I unconsciously hurt them with my hand or so ..but this video was actually helpful o always appreciate your videos
Im a rough sleeper,i toss around a lot but the most comfortable sleep position i love is sleeping on my stomach, face down on the pillow like i suffocate myself. The thing is sometimes when i fall asleep I decide to lift my face and slept on my ear. Sleeping is a nightmare now since I just got my flat done and im so scared of bumping them,i swear all of the picture i saw of people's ear balloon up is crazy
The thing is that basically if you continue to even move it or touch it. It will take even LONGER to completely heal. And could LIKELY cause bumps! Those piercing bumps that happen in the cartilage.
Sounds like your holes are trying to close. I would try to go through the back first and then put the earring in. Also continuously wear earrings so your ears get used to having them.
This is weird but it really works for me. I soak a small towel with hot water and then put it on my ear. The hot water helps the piercing expand and it makes it easier for me to put my piercing in.
I've just taken out my earrings for the first night after like 2 or 3 months after getting them pierced, and the holes almost closed up, needed help to even get one of them in. So it'd have been useful to see the video and heed the advice not to leave them out. But also, when I had my ears pierced, the first week I barely got any sleep, was not fun.
Wait why did you even remove the piercings? It sounds like a cartilage piercing and for those they say that it takes at least 6 months for it to be fully healed somebody can also take up to a year.
Because of the sleeping issue I decided to get piercings just on my left ear first and wait until they’re completely healed, and THEN get piercings on my right. Sleeping has been by far the biggest issue for me with piercings (and I just got two new ones). The only downside to my plan is my right ear feels so plain compared to my left ear and I’m a little insecure about it haha, but I’m willing to deal with it for now. I’m a side sleeper who used to sleep on both sides, so it’s been a struggle! I want to start on my right ear so bad but I have to wait.
After three failed attempts on getting my upper lobe piercings, today i got my cartilage (helix) pierced instead on both ears. Currently im lying on my bed too afraid to fall asleep plus my left piercing hurts cuz i pulled it unintentionally wid my hair lol.I really love ear piercings hope I'm successfull this time wid maintaining them 😔
both my left & right upper lobes keloid, I'm almost 18 now but I got my lobes when 13 w/ a piercing gun and cleaned them too often + slept wrong. I wanna get them pierced again & also get a double helix on the right & single helix on the left. how are you ears now?
im curious what the consequences of mistreating a piercing is. i know it can get infected, get a bump, heal wrong, all that, but what is that actually like? how bad is it to have a bump? how long do infections last and does it mean you cant wear any piercings in that area until it heals fully and gets re-pierced? sorry if these are obvious answers, im just anxious lol
so i impulsively once pierced my helix with a gun once and it was real bad formed a bump, which kater got infected, then it was blood and pus everywhere so i had to give it up and let it heal now there's just a scar there but everything's fine, and the piercing is closed up
I used to touch one of my piercings a lot with unwashed hands, it got infected, there was tissue forming all around along with pus. I went to the ER, the doc had the piercing cleaned up and put me on antibiotics. It healed pretty quickly after that.
Do it, I’ve seen people who tape their ears, wouldn’t recommend it. I move a lot as well, but I’m a light sleeper and will only move if I’m awake I move every hour so I’m waking up every hour for a few seconds. Anyways the best thing I could say is figure out what would help you sleep better knowing your protecting your ears. Also I am a guy as well...who bought Gurren Lagann drills for earrings cuz anime be dope. I plan on sleeping how I normally do and will play it by ear as I do so.
I roll and thrash around in my sleep a lot. About a year ago I got my lobe pierced, I slept with an airplane pillow and even tied my torso to a pile of pillows to limit movement. I was fine for a while but when it was almost healed I tore it in my sleep and it got infected 😭 I had to take it out and haven't gotten pierced since
That's exactly why I wouldn't trust airplane pillows until the piercing is fully healed. So for lobe piercings I'd wait 4-6 weeks and then go in to get the post shortened and after that it should be fine to use the airplane pillow. Then I'd wait maybe til it's been 6 months to sleep without the airplane pillow. Otherwise get 2 large hairclips and put them on both sides of your head then sleep and you won't roll over your piercings 😇. The more you know 🌈
I’m 4 weeks in to having both lobes pierced and have been sleeping with neck pillow the entire time, even after the 6 weeks can I try sleeping with a regular pillow or will the pressure still be too much?

I just got my ear lobes pierced, and for the past 2 nights I could not fall asleep because of the pain. (Pierced with a Piercing gun) I’m also confused as to whether or not I should be using the method given by the piercer, or what YT suggests. I was told to spray the product on the earring, and spin it. However I’ve also been told to spray it down on both sides, and lightly clean around the jewelry without spinning it. I just need a solid solution, and a pain lifter 😭
I’ve rolled up my towel into a circle and I’m sleeping on it ,it feels comfortable but I’m a rough sleeper so I hope it doesn’t unfold 😂😂😂😂will update soon
I just pierced my ear and this really helps cause I'm kinda scared of what might happen when I wake up, thanks by the way :)

I don’t know if this is a tip, but my piercer told me that you can’t go to bed with wet hair. It has to be dry! Hope this helps!
Yes this is true!
Okey but why is that bad? Im just curious
If your hair is wet it gets to your ear piercings, and moisture is a breeding ground for bacteria. And bacteria is what causes infections.
Anyone who goes to wet hair anyways is strange, I could never! Your pillow would get soaked

They shouldn’t still hurt that much. I would have a different piercer take a look at your piercing (in person) and get a second opinion.
@@ThePiercingOutlet Alrighty! Thank you so much. I can’t even turn on my sides without it paining me. 😅
If my ears got infected can I get them pierced again? It’s been a few years
I watch this because I got them done today
