    Updates & Community Suggestions
    1) With 3/2024 update with plagues, there are significant increases to the lethality of certain diseases and new diseases. No old mechanics have changed, so everything in this video still applies. I will make a follow up video on plagues addressing the changes and how it becomes even more important to also avoid death (may take some more time as I still only have ~20 hours with new new update).

      Something that helps is having a lot of baronies in your capital county. This way you can spam the plague resistance building.

    You have talent in making videos, well done. If I may give you a piece of advice. Make videos with long themes, but divide them into 2 or 3 parts. Long videos discourage clicks and views. The quality is excellent, you explain well.

      Thank you for the kind words! It’s funny my recording style is I write a word for word script I read from because if I don’t, I lose my words while recording. I end up trying to create an information flow that is overly complete, elongating the video length. I would love 10 minute videos but that may be too short? Would love to hear further feedback like this, thank you!

    To get the Aspiring Blademaster for your heir is easy. You put your Marshal on Training and you forbid all the other knights from fighting then the only one who gets trained is your heir and if you want to make him Legendary you send him to wars without other knights. Make sure u have some kickass MAA with high damage so your heir gets the victory

      Wow great tips! I’m in the process of of testing plagues and seeing if I should recommend more disease resistance. With your method that would be a dependable source of resistance :) Thank you!

    Great content - using your tips and my latest ruler made it till 127. unfortunately he couldn’t join tournaments at ~ 123 (even though he still had 84 strength). Just 3 more years…😢

      @breadgodgaming  6 годин тому

      Thank you for your kind words! That is an impressive age for your ruler!! They did make getting the infirm trait more likely since I released this video, which is a bummer since sometimes you can outlive it for many decades but it prevents you from participating in tournaments (like you probably experienced). So I've made it a habit to get the health traits earlier than before to prevent old age from blocking me from getting them.

    Base game before the artifacts came in. Starting Leon and getting all 3 at level 3 in 4th generation. He took over at 12 and died at 96. Finished all learning lines, seducer (he was getting a new lover every 11 months or some events to add another.) and two lines in the steward line. He never got caught having other kids (note lovers' kids at the time did not count for inbreeding) He had a few wives, and the last one was daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter. (She also married not the next ruler, but the one after that.) I figured he added 92 kids. he would get nieces, daughters or granddaughters to produce one or two kids, then break up and marry them off. He even was seduced by his mother and had a few kids with her and even his daughter/sisters. He also got pure blood and concentrated blood, along with becoming the Iberian emperor. Then so many traits earned for hunts and feasts.

      That's an amazing story! I'm super impressed you lived to 96 before all the updates. I only started playing right before Royal Court was released and from then until now, I noticed it became really really easy to consistently live to 100 from all the DLC and new traits (hunter/traveler/hastiluder) that came out

    With Know They Self, can it actually end up hurting you if you could get your health back up?

    • @breadgodgaming
      @breadgodgaming  2 місяці тому +2

      Correct, if you were just about to get a buff from hunt/feast/etc to bring your health back up to 'fine' but you unluckily rolled for death, then 'Know Thyself' locks in your death date even if you get your health all the way to 'excellent'. It's still worth it because at least it warns you when inheritance will happen and 1 year is a lot of time to prepare.

      @@breadgodgamingYou actually can. On my first playthrough, my elderly queen was saved by acquired friendship. She lived for another 9 years after event and died at 92.
      The woman was a legend, inherited Ireland at 4, was overthrown by her uncle, regained throne at 15 and practically created the British Empire

    17:07 it sais "years of fertility", it's just increase time then you can have babies

    • @breadgodgaming
      @breadgodgaming  Місяць тому

      For female characters, they lose their fertility/ability to have babies once they are 45 years old. Fecund will extend that to 50 years old. For male characters, they can always have children but have reduced fertility chance the older they get. I assume Fecund increases the chance distribution by 5 years.
