👍👍👍Noble. Respect and salute to the Organisation and yourself for supporting it. So sad, and disconcerting that so many Servicemen 'end up on a limb and alone' after serving their Countries and no matter whether it was for better or worse, they did their duty and many deserve better.
It's brilliant for the lads and lases to relax and unwind from daily stresses. Which is why I'm doing a wilderness therapy course to help other veterans.
Fantastic work. Such a vitally important strand of their wellbeing and care. For anyone, spending time in the woods and the outdoors, is just so important. For many years, I was blessed to have the use of a section of private woodland to go and practice basic bushcraft and just spending time with the wildlife and soaking up the environment. It was my weekly mental health cleanser and stress relief from my busy teaching job. Having also spent time with many military personnel, serving and retired, for these men and women, this type of project can make the vital difference between isolation and tragedy, to a healthy, healing return to balanced wellbeing. I wish them all well and congratulations on volunteering to support this venture and pass on some of your skill and enthusiasm.
So often we send young men to war, and then the Governments that sent them - Brit, US, Canadian, leave them hanging with issues the rest of us can't imagine... Good on ya, Brother, for being there.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet you Neil. I'd like to see you again in the near future, I can learn a lot from you. Thank you for taking the time out and talking to me too.
Nice one Neil, sorry I didn't get to meet you on this one but I filmed there with the lads last month,, I'm also a civvy with military family and they made me very welcome... Video on my channel I hope to go again soon... ATB Chris....
Great work !!! I wish they had something like that in Chicago.....😥😪 It would help so many Veterans here, in this area. Keep up the great work !!! Good luck, Everyone !!!
@@greencraft4783 , I may. I know I try to get out to local parks, just to get into some trees, and hang a hammock, fire up a spirit burner or a twig stove, heat up a cup of coffee or tea, and just "center" myself and spirit with nature. I will look into getting other Veterans into it...neighborhood-wise, or across a larger area. Thank you !!!
Enjoyed this what a great programme, what was the name of that other youtuber I couldn't quite catch his name on your video. Thanks for your hard work.
I noticed the other day how at this time of year i need to saw wood .... Like a cave man If that helps. I think its great that people are starting to realise what impact a job has . My job has been working in computer networks for 30 years and i find the outdoors is the only realistic cure for all those battles
This is what we,ve been doing the last 6 years up North. Will have to touch base with you to send referrals from down your way. Belisama's Retreat CIC.
Problem is once the government and armed forces have finished with you they couldn’t give a sh-t about them because they are of no use to their nasty agendas. War etc
Thanks Neil from myself and the team at Operation Jackdaw.

I just went along to help, it's the guys that have organised this that desrve the praise.
@@greencraft4783 Absolutely, but you still volunteered your time to be there for them. Congrats to all involved.
If only our corrupt government and our evil, paedo - satanist monarchy was worthy of the service given by our brave service personnel .
Good on you for doing this for the chaps, Neil.

Important work. Thanks for sharing. I'm not a vet but many friends were in Vietnam.

The MOD and government seem to cast many veterans aside with little or no assistance . What a top job Neil,
I love this!

❤
I was a survival instr in the army, and always thought about doing this for an6 fellow veterens.
Taff, get in touch with them and see what you can do. There is plenty of need out there

Cheers Paul, the contact for Op Jackdaw is in the description box. Get in touch with them buddy, it would really help.
🙂👍
Not so sure about the “guys swapping spit” bit!☹️😱🤣😂. That aside, a very worthy cause!
And the gals, please. Women veterans come back with PTSD too. I’ve met some women who found solace with ancestral skills community too.
A veteran is a veteran regardless of gender, I'm sure Op Jackdaw will have ladies along in time.
Woooo! First view and comment.😂
This is the same as Veteran Trees which is in Kent, Brill idea to help ex Servicemen.
