What was the reaction of the Korean family?

Actually rose was born in new zealand and grew up in australia, but her parents are korean so she is korean and australian, she can speak both languages natively :)

@@rubyhuynh1802 Yes, she did. But the situation varies. Like I’m an Asian American. I speak Chinese ever since birth but I didn’t learn the language. It’s just my family speaks that language so I go along with them. But as I grew up, I went to American schools and now I’m more comfortable speaking in English. Rosé is like that too
@@rubyhuynh1802 its different when you speak Korean with your family vs when you speak Korean in Korean society, the vocab is different, there's a lot of idioms too..

Normally it’s me having to read the English subtitles with a song. It’s hard to keep up sometimes, huh? I love both songs Rosé released. “On the ground” was #1 in the United States.

Every Koreans are surprised that the whole song is in English. Many expected it to be combination of Korean and English. Like Jennie solo.

I'm happy to know that you enjoy Rosé song. I really love to see koreans reacting to blackpink. Coz as international fans I know that blackpink is very well known globally but because of yg's lacked of promotion in korea, most of the korean didn't realize how popular they are. If they only allowed blackpink to show their real self on korean variety shows for sure a lot of korean will definitely like them. Like for example is grandpa, he likes Rosé because he see her on knowing bros and he see how charming she is.
Rosé really need to release a korean version of On The Ground & Gone. 😭
